Welcome to our bright and fully stocked private apartment in Martinez! You'll have your own private entrance, designated driveway, and parking area. The apartment has a full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and in-unit washer/dryer. Relax in the living room with a 58-inch TV and stay connected with free, fast WIFI. Perfectly located in the East Bay Area, come and make yourself at home! As a warm welcome, we provide a basket of treats, granola bars, popcorn, and bottles of water in the refrigerator for our guests to enjoy during their stay. The space features two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and another with two twin beds. An air mattress is also provided for extra sleeping arrangements. The living room area offers a comfortable couch, large leather chair with an ottoman, and a selection of toys for kids in the shelving unit, as well as board games. The dining set in the great room includes a table and chairs with seating for four, and there are additional bean bag chairs in the closet for extra seating, along with folding chairs. Guests have access to their own full kitchen, equipped with a refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig (stocked with pods) and regular coffee maker, and dishwasher. All necessary dishes, pots/pans, and utensils for cooking are provided. Entertainment options include a 58-inch TV in the living room, equipped for streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, as well as a selection of Blu-Rays and DVDs. The TV can be angled any way you want, as it pulls out from the wall. Fast WIFI is also available. For added convenience, a washer/dryer is provided in the unit, along with detergent. The hall closet includes an ironing board, iron, clothes rack, and plenty of hangers, as well as ample space for storing luggage. We strive to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Guests will have access to the entire apartment, which is the lower level of the property. Our family lives on the top floor, completely separate from the apartment unit, there is no interior access between the upper and lower floor. There is a large driveway that can accommodate 2 (or more) vehicles easily and is only used by guests of the apartment. Our family's driveway is separate, on the opposite side of the house, so nobody has to worry about being blocked in. We are a family of four and live in the main house (upper floor), so we are not far away. Happy to provide as much assistance as you require, but we respect your privacy otherwise. Martinez is a charming little town with a nostalgic downtown area that backs up to the SF Bay delta. Lots of little shops and restaurants. Right around the corner from our house is the Viano Winery, less than a 5 minute drive, and it's open for walk-in tastings most days. If you like taking walks around the neighborhood, there is a big open space about a 5-10 minute walk up the hill by our house. Great views of the Delta and Mt. Diablo. A grocery store (Lucky) is right down the street along with several restaurants in the Village Oaks Shopping Center. Hanabi Sushi, Mangia Bene (Italian), Bamboo Garden (Chinese), Togo's (sandwiches), IHOP, Subway, Mountain Mike's Pizza, and McDonald's are some of the restaurants. Another nearby shopping center has a Starbucks, Chipotle, and Panda Express. Bank of America and Chase ATMs are available in the shopping center as well. Quick access to I-680 and CA Highway-4. You'll need your own car or use a ride share service or taxi to get to and from our place. But we're a short 10 minute drive to the Pleasant Hill BART station and from there it's a 35 minute train ride to San Francisco or 20 minutes to Oakland. Please do not plan to have more than the max occupancy of 5 people stay overnight in the unit. It is not set up for parties or gatherings as we prefer to avoid high noise levels that can occur with large groups. It is fine if you have friends/family in the area and would like them to come over, but just be mindful of the noise please and do not have large groups or parties at the apartment.
