Orchard Cottage

Originally forestry workers' cottages, this is the end of four and faces the open fields and the ancient Swanton Great Wood. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing, out of the way, it's at the end of a very quiet lane in Swanton Novers with no traffic, just the odd dog walker or bird watcher passing the house. There is a large garden full of trees which is a real treat on a summer's evening, sitting out watching deer and barn owls across the field. Ideally placed for exploring North Norfolk and the coast. The space The house has been recently refurbished with a new boiler, radiators, dishwasher, smart TV, Alexa, etc. and full redecoration. Our first guests through AirBnB were welcomed on 4 July 2020. Guest access The whole house and garden is available to guests. The house is for a maximum of 6 guests of which only 4 can be adults (in two beds, one king and one double) with 2 children (in two large bunks). The top bunk is unsuitable for very young children. The dining table has been changed since photo. It now seats 6 people . With extension leaves it seats 10. There are 6 dining chairs and 4 fold up dining chairs. Pets only by prior arrangement. Other things to note Bedroom 3 sleeps two in bunk beds and is adjacent to bathroom 2. These are on the ground floor. Bedroom 1, 2 and bathroom 1 are on the first floor. There is space for a travel cot in bedrooms 1 and 3. No pets unless by prior arrangement. The garden is not completely enclosed therefore small children would need supervision at all times
