Description
Our three bedroom lakefront camp w/beach and dock is right off the bike path and 15 minutes from Burlington. It is perfect for getting away yet still have access to "stuff". The Lake Champlain side has a flat lawn with seating, 7 foot seawall, and a private, rocky beach. Cable TV, WiFi, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Kayaks, floats, canoe, rowboat and external fire options (call for permission/instructions). No pets per HOA, sorry. The space This is a simple three bedroom family camp with the open living/dining/kitchen area on the lakeside to enjoy the views during the day. As far as equipment, we have a heater, ample fans, an over/under washer/dryer, city water but private septic (no "flushable" wipes or hygiene products, please), flat screen TV, DVD, cable, WiFi and a pile of great board and card games. Add to that the bike path, Airport Park, the Sunset Drive-In and downtown Burlington and we can guarantee that you can find something to do or a place to relax. Full complement of cooking supplies, including ample condiments and spices. No inside smoking. Please note: We keep our boats at camp and occasionally might park up next to the road and pass through the property to use them, but, though we do use the outside closet and shed, will not be inside of cottage. Guest access The attic and shed are exclusively for use by the owners. The tenants may use oars, paddles and PFD's from outside closet. The blue kayak and aluminum rowboat are available for use by guests at their own risk. We have a fire "pit" and gas fired cocktail table that can be used only after reviewing fuel costs and safe operation with Andy. Other things to note The camp was purchased to give the owners access to the lake, usually so they can boat to Sunset Island. They will occasionally pass through the property but will not enter the cabin. Please understand that this is a family cabin and not the Ritz or or a hospital room. Your predecessors do their own dishes and might leave food products that you may use, ignore or dispose of. Leftovers, however, should be disposed of before moving out. As part of our Covid protocols, all used bedding and linens are completely swapped out between tenants.
