Let's start our tour with the dining room. Silver cutlery, Saint-Louis lead crystal glasses, magnificent tablecloths and napkins selected to fit the 3 meters long solid sono wood table, and the hidden sound system: every little thing was designed to make your meals an out of the time experience, in full accordance with the Arts de la Table. Let us proceed to the kitchen. Worktops of black granite, floor of blue Hainaut stone, and top level appliances, like: Quooker for hot and cold filtered water, large capacity refrigerator with an ice cubes maker, juicer, Thermomix food processor, and steam oven in addition to the standard oven. Ready for the wow moment? Then, push the solid oak door to the lounge, and stay in awe as you discover this unique and spacious spot in Paris. More than 50 m2 (550 sq ft) flooded with the light from 6 tall period windows, one of which overlooks the Institut de France's Cupola. More than 3 meters high, the original, very rare, painted beams are telling you stories from more than 400 years ago. Under your feet, the period Versailles flooring. Every detail was generously sized with your comfort in mind: the sofa for 6 to 8, the big armchair, the tall Bösendorfer white upright piano, the big-screen TV connected to hidden speakers and subwoofer, with the Apple TV providing you free access to thousands of movies, to TV shows, to countless music tracks and to a thousand TV channels… The magic continues as you proceed to your bedrooms: your Suite is in the 3rd floor of the unforgettable staircase. The Master Bedroom (Bedroom 1) provides a magnificent view to the Institut de France's Cupola, a lounge area with three Louis XV armchairs and a comfortable banquette around a round table made of raw wood, a corridor closet with a safe, and a beautiful bathroom featuring large mirrors and white marble, toilets with a handheld shower, heated towel rack and heated floor. In the smaller Bedroom (Bedroom 2), either for children or for another couple, marble and granite bathroom with an illuminated shower, heated towel rack and heated floor, a spacious walk-in closet, and an illuminated private terrace with a giant jasmine, two chairs and a garden table for a moment of total peacefulness. Again there, a TV with Apple TV like in the main lounge. The temperature is ideal all year long in the bedrooms, thanks to an effective, quiet, central A/C — a feature rarely available in a building built in 1600 — and powerful heaters with thermostats you can adjust as you wish. In the patio, a period door opens to the building's laundry room, that you're welcome to use from 7pm to 12pm. You will find there the high-end Miele machines: washer with automatized detergent supply, dryer, and steam ironing system. Still in the patio, two black metal doors give access to the two other units: two Duplexes, renovated with the same committed care. The first, the "Enchanting Duplex", has two luxury bedrooms while the other, "Romantic Duplex", has one. These three bedrooms and their ensuite bathrooms, the TV lounge and the two kitchens combine noble materials and advanced equipments to provide you an absolute comfort in a magnificent setting. The vintage solid oak flooring, the white marble bathrooms, and every detail in the design will seduce you. You will appreciate, in each of the three bedrooms as well as in the Enchanting Duplex' TV lounge, the TV screens with last generation Apple TVs, which give you free access to thousands of movies, TV shows and musics, the central A/C, and in the bathrooms you will love the heated towel racks (Bathrooms 3 & 5) and the heated floors. Access to each of the two independent apartments is through its own independent door, opening to their fully equipped kitchens located on the ground floor. In the Enchanting Duplex (2 bedrooms), the kitchen diner is fully equipped: microwave and traditional oven, dishwasher, tall fridge, induction cooktop, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, and a large beautiful granite island accommodating 5. Also in the kitchen dinner, the washer-dryer for the laundry, an ironing board and a steam iron. At the same level, a restroom with a washbasin, a closet for your coats and for a shopping trolley, provided, and the TV connected to its Apple TV. From the kitchen, the spiral staircase ascends to the TV lounge, which opens to the two bedrooms: the Master Bedroom (Bedroom 3), with its luxurious king size bed, and the second Bedroom with a queen size bed (Bedroom 4). Each bedroom includes its desk and its own beautifully designed, bright, white marble bathroom with a high ceiling, washbasin, toilet and shower. In the Romantic Duplex (1 bedroom), the kitchen offers microwave, dishwasher, fridge, induction cooktop, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, a beautiful granite bar with handy drawers and the granite worktop. From the kitchen, the staircase ascends to the bedroom (Bedroom 5), its luxurious golden leather king size bed and its lounge area, with the TV, the sofa and the coffee table. Located at the same level, the small computer desk with its comfortable chair, and the outstanding, luminous and spacious white marble bathroom. Those duplex apartments offer a completely quiet stay in generously sized and refined rooms, with large closets and central air conditioning, features not so common in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area. Guest access The patio and its large table are privately yours. You can have a drink or a snack there at any time of the day or the night, on comfortable banquettes, in a spot enjoyable in every season: shady thus cooler in Summer, yet sheltered and equipped with IR heaters. In that same patio, a wooden door opens to an independent room: the laundry room. Behind that period (1600) door: high-end Miele washer, dryer and steam ironing system. You are welcome using the laundry room in the evening, after 7pm, and in the morning, before 12pm: in that slot the laundry room is privately yours. You are provided with 5 fobs: each of them opens each of your units. You can ask a different configuration of the fobs if you wish. Other things to note The housekeepers clean your apartment every other day, and replace the linen and towels every four days. Three courtesy iPhone are yours for your stay.
