Old Minocqua charm on Lake Minocqua with boat dock! Water’s Edge Cabin is a cozy cabin overlooking the bay! Sunset Bay is a family resort resting in a quiet bay on Lake Minocqua - right off Hwy. 51 (some highway noise) and just one-mile south from downtown Minocqua. The convenient location means you are only a short distance from hiking and biking trails, tennis, golf, horseback riding, shopping and fine dining. The resort features a swimming beach, swim raft, playground equipment, fire pit, fish cleaning house and plenty of dock space to park your boat (boat rental not included) and trailer for the duration of your stay (please review all photos). The famous Minocqua chain of four lakes is a fisherman's paradise teeming with a variety of fish such as Musky, Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike and panfish. Please note that that this unit is not air-conditioned (window air conditions are not allowed) but equipped with ceiling, table fans and windows. Additionally, we do not offer boat rentals, but rentals are available in town. Also, there is not a boat launch on premises, the closest launch is located in town by the Minocqua library. Lastly, we do welcome smaller dogs breeds (pet fee applies), please forward the breed of your dog prior to booking for approval. Park only in the designated area at your unit, one spot per cabin is included. DO NOT BLOCK THE GARAGE TO THE WHITE HOUSE. Items that you may want to bring along include disinfectant wipes, charcoal for the grill, soap, towels, beach towels, life jackets, shampoo/conditioner, coffee, all condiments, and any other unusual cookware or bakeware that may be needed for your stay. We supply bedding, basic cookware & grill items, 2 toilet paper & paper towels rolls, coffee filters, and silverware. The house rules and clean up instructions are located on the refrigerator.
