We are happy to welcome you to the "Ecureuils" facing Mont Blanc, a real small preserved corner of paradise 10 minutes from the ski resort of Plaine-Joux and 25 minutes from Chamonix. We offer our 60-square-meter apartment, located on the ground floor of our house, with a private entrance and terrace, facing south. Its bay window and windows make it very bright and allow you to admire the summit of Mont Blanc even while staying warm! The space The apartment enjoys optimal sunshine, the best of the entire valley, due to its exposure on the southern slope of the valley. Its location in the heart of a small cul-de-sac makes it a particularly quiet place, where your tranquility is guaranteed! Its large independent terrace with its table allows you to have breakfast facing Mont-Blanc ;-) We specify that we have only one parking space for the accommodation, attached to the entrance of the latter. Please enter in forward and move forward until you "hit" the small visible wooden marker, just in front of the bay window. (The parking space is marked by a white marking on the ground. A closed outdoor locker for storing skis is available. This renovated apartment is functional and warm. It will give you all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay with as few constraints as possible. It is perfect for couples as well as families and business travelers. The apartment must be tidied, the dishwasher emptied, the bed and bath linen placed in the laundry basket provided for this purpose. The cleaning must be done before departure, the vacuum and mop passed. The 60 euros of fees charged correspond only to the laundry service provided by a company. You have a raclette, pierrade, crepe maker and a fondue set. The apartment is fully equipped: Dishes and cutlery, cooking utensils, dishes, pots, pans, electric and piston coffee maker, oven and microwave oven, toaster, baby plates and cutlery, kettle as well as oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Also available: Wifi (please note, we are at the end of the line, the connection may sometimes be very weak) TV, dishwasher, washing machine, towels and bed linen provided, hairdryer, iron, baby bath, high chair, baby bed...). And finally, some board games, books, and magazines. A terrace with small table and chairs, a barbecue (please note, gas bottles not included). For any requests, we live on site and can meet all your expectations. Other remarks: Remember to bring chains for your car in winter. If the house rules are unfortunately not respected, we may use the AirCover system offered by Airbnb. A 5-minute drive away, you will find many hiking, snowshoeing and via ferrata departures, whose guidebooks are in the apartment, its location allows you to combine leisure and services without making long trips. The Mountain Store in Passy is a 10-minute drive. 1.8 km from our house, in the village of Plateau d'Assy you will also find: - a post office - a pharmacy - a grocery store - a bakery - a newsagent - a tobacco bar - a medical center (doctors, nurses, physiotherapists) - two restaurants - a souvenir shop - a shop of artisanal creations (local) - a hairdresser - a playground for young children adjoining a soccer/basketball field - tennis courts - a 140 m suspended walkway! 10 minutes from our accommodation, you will discover the downhill and cross-country ski slopes of the Plaine-Joux area, as well as its paragliding take-off!
