Cozy, romantic cabin by the lake.

This romantic, rustic and cozy lakeside cabin is the perfect place to unwind, relax and explore nature. There are miles of woodland trails to explore, and it is only 55 minutes from NYC, 5 minutes from the Merritt Parkway and other major highways, 20 min UBER from Metro North Train Fairfield Station, or Bridgeport. The space This is a 600 square foot, winterized cabin with waterfront views on a private lake in Ct's hottest town for young families. Come explore historic Trumbull and it's many parks and hundreds of miles of walking trails. There is a great winery within a 15 minute drive and a brewery within 15 minutes in the other direction. We have world class dining within 20 minutes and great hiking and mountain biking trails in all directions. Beaches on the Long Island Sound are a short drive away, too. In response to COVID 19 concerns, I think it important to tell you that keeping the cabin disinfected and clean has ALWAYS been my priority, and to be clear, all bed cloths are washed before each guest visit: from the mattress covers, to the pillow case liners, to the sheets and the coverlet. Every surface in the cabin is wiped down and the cabin is aired out before each guest arrives. This does take extra time however which is why my check in time is a bit late and my check out time is earlier. Smoking is not allowed in or near the cabin. Guest access This is a stand alone cabin, that you will have all to yourself, however in summer the neighboring cabins are very close and usually occupied on the weekends with friendly but quiet folk. As Fall and Winter approach the neighboring cabins empty out, and you will find this cabin to be very secluded and it will seem you have the neighborhood and the woods all to yourself. No smoking on the premises please. Other things to note The cabin has a window air conditioner in the summer months. The cabin is insulated and heated by a gas stove. On extremely frigid (below 15 degrees F) days you may want to use the space heaters that are supplied in the bedroom for extra warmth. Swimming and boating in this private lake is for association members only. Airbnb guests are not permitted to use the lake unless the owners (we) are present. Smoking is not allowed inside or near the cabin.
