We invite you to check out the reviews and book a trip! The space Beautiful setting an hour north of Portland Maine. This is an apartment - not the entire house. As you look at the first photo the apartment is located on the upper left. The bay window corresponds to the interior pictures. The place does include use of an amazing beach, play court for tennis, basketball, shuffelboard and bocci ball, bbq grill, outdoor lobster steaming cooker, gas bbq grill, & picnic table. The apartment has a spacious common room with an ocean view and two, twin sized day beds..(be sure to look at the pictures) it has a separate bedroom with a queen mattress. Full bath with shower. There is also a raised deck accessed by an exterior stair case offering beautiful 180 degree ocean views! Historic sites from the 1600's nearby (Popham Colony and State Beach) as well as restaurants, golf and spa @ Sebasco Resort. A great organic farm-stand is a few miles down the road with lots of specialty provisions and home made pies. One of our favorite restaurants is a few miles down the road, The Lobster House, and it has a beautiful setting on a back bay. This is a one of a kind place as it sits on 4 acres on the Atlantic ocean, peace and solitude and quality family time is what people find here at Osprey Point.. My family has been coming to this area since the 1970's to Hermit Island Campground - a short walk away and it features Head Beach, and the Kelp Shed with arcade games, ping pong tables, a small camp store and snack bar. It is an amazing area that seems immune to our sometimes frantic world! Apartment is fully equipped with pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, full fridge, stove oven, microwave. Includes bed linens and towels, though you should bring beach towels and beach blankets, sun screen & bug spray - we also have a fair amount of beach chairs etc. WiFi on site however it is NOT the best feature of our place.. we are at the 'end of the line'... As technology and line worthiness improves, so too will our WIFI. Cell phones do work here but you may experience dropped calls. Guest access The beach is about 150 yards East - just a short stroll from the apartment (as you look at the house go left!) The play court, attached upper deck and the beach (shared by about 7 other summer rentals in the immediate area). Other things to note It is a good idea to stock up with groceries in Bath before heading to our place as it is the largest grocery store (Shaws) and pharmacy. Nearby, in Phippsburg (4 or 5 miles) is the Center Store or (1/2 mile); Hermit Island Campground, camp store for basic groceries and beer and wine.. they also have a snack bar.
