The space Enjoy your stay in New York City from your private suite in Harlem. Your room is approximately 250 sq feet, with 3 windows with southern exposure, overlooking a quiet tree lined street. There is a king size bed, with orthopedic mattress, a large closet, a chest with drawers and a desk. There is also an armchair that can be opened and become a comfortable extra single bed, suitable for a child or young adult. If necessary, we can provide a crib for small children. Sorry, no TV in the room, but we have WiFi and subscription to Netflix and Amazon if you want to watch a movie on you laptop or iPad. You will also have a private bathroom, with a bathtub and marble floors. The apartment has been renovated 4 years ago, so everything is new and in perfect conditions. There is centralized heating and air condition. We generally only rent the bedroom and bathroom, meaning that there is no access to the rest of the house. Nevertheless, depending on the length of the stay or other circumstances, we can allow the use of the kitchen and dining room. The apartment is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Historic Harlem, only three short blocks away from the 2 & 3 express subway lines. You are only 10 minutes away from the Lincoln Center and 15 minutes away from Times Square and Broadway shows. Great restaurants such as the famed Red Rooster, President Obama's favorite, french brasserie Chez Lucienne, world renown Sylvia's Soul Food are just a few steps away. Plan a night at the legendary Apollo theater, and enjoy the the Sunday Gospel's throughout the neighborhood. The room is a quiet retreat after the sightseeing you have been doing all day long. Relax in your private bath and get ready to start again the morning after with breakfast at Lenox cafe', with a croissant coming directly from Balthazar and a perfect Italian style Cappuccino. Enjoy New York from a different perspective.
