Timsgarry Old Post Office is located on the beautiful west coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Western Isles ,with breathtaking views across the white sands of Ardroil beach and Uig Bay where the Lewis Chessmen were found. Our spacious well equipped cottage - a home from home, sits in an elevated position and boasts wonderful sea, beach and mountain views, offering the perfect retreat for total relaxation and provides the best location to explore this wonderful, unspoilt part of the world. The space Our former family home offers very comfortable spacious and spotlessly clean self catering accomodation for up to 8 guests + cot. Just to note the upstairs twin rooms are an attic conversion and have partially sloping ceilings and Velux windows. Bed linen and towels are provided as is a welcome pack. Free wifi is included. Guest access Whole house and garden areas ( note the building next to the house is where the Old post office was situated and is currently only used as a store/ barn no one lives there) Other things to note If bringing Pets we ask that they be on a lead when outside as we have sheep and lambs on the Croft next to the house.
