A private apartment in a separate wing of a converted factory complex which includes an owner occupied building and artist studio in a quiet residential neighborhood. A spacious and open floor plan offers a peaceful stay along with thoughtful touches with your comfort in mind. The space The apartment is modern and open yet charming with 1975 sq. ft. of living space. It is the home of the former Erickson-Davis Gallery, retaining artworks by the host and her late husband. There is also a large office area suitable for remote work. The ground floor bedroom offers a comfy queen bed and full bathroom nearby. The upstairs bedroom boasts a comfortable queen bed along with a sitting room with a daybed for two extra guests. The private, outdoor fenced in area has a fire pit, seating, picnic table, two lounges and hammock chair. BBQ on request. We welcome clean, well behaved pets. ($50 pet fee) Pet sitting and dog walking available for an additional fee. On site babysitting available. Guest access Two separate entrances to the apartment from the large parking area. It is wheelchair accessible from the front door but note there are two steps up to the bathroom and tub/shower that might be difficult for some guests. Other things to note Local ordinances require a two day minimum. By law we cannot provide food. Guests will need to bring their own coffee, tea, etc. People with young children should be advised that the upstairs space and its stairway could be a hazard for very active children and toddlers. Close supervision is recommended. The concrete floors are not ideal for crawlers. The apartment is an open loft and even though the bedrooms are situated far apart and out of view from each other and common spaces, sound can carry. There is a white noise machine and a Bluetooth speaker are provided.
