The space This listing is for the 700 sqft first floor of the main castle, which includes a well equipped kitchen which can be used to cook amazing meals, full bathroom with shower, super comfy queen size bed nook with memory foam mattress and a variety of pillow options, comfy futon couch, as well as access to shared laundry space. There is a smart TV with internet and HD antenna in case you need one but it is kept covered for those who appreciate a quiet, zen space. There is a small but growing reading library and a few games. Wifi is included, no cigarette smoking inside. The Castle is a historic hand-built unique home. Originally constructed in the mid 70's, each brick was hand made from local Willamette valley resources by the original owner, with windows and doorways made from hand-welded iron to match the unique shape of each and every archway. The building features large craftsman style beams, hardwood interior and Spanish tile throughout. As the building exchanged hands, it continued to evolve and grow as each new owner made their own additions and further refined the space inside and out. It is an ever-evolving artistic architectural project now 4 owners deep and still very much growing. The property is divided into 3 living spaces, the main house upstairs and two airbnb rentals, one downstairs and one detached cottage. The property is at the end of a secluded road and surrounded by trees, making it fairly private. We have deer that sometimes come on the property, as well as a variety of other cute forest wildlife.
