Book now for an unforgettable trip, matey! The space ••• All couples on deck! Pirate Ridge Cabin is perfect for proposals, honeymoons and anniversaries. It sleeps two passionate pirates and is totally unique to the area. Decked out with fun nautical and pirate decor, great memories and selfies are guaranteed! Aye, aye, Captain, you bet there’s WiFi! (I knew ye couldn’t wait) And it's fast! ★ CAPTAIN’S QUARTERS-King Bed! ★ •Romantic and regal, the master bedroom with a KING size bed is fitting for a swashbuckling buccaneer. Gold lamps with USB chargers adorn the nightstands. ★ DIVE IN-Hot Tub & Soaking Tub* ★ • Soak in the hot tub on the secluded, screened deck high atop the trees. (*Due to iron-rich well water, occasionally the hot tub has stains on the walls. It's not dirty, just discolored fiberglass.) • Dim the lights and slide into the romantic tub right next to your beautiful bed. (Due to the size of the tub, some guests report not having enough hot water to fill. The solution is to fill in stages. Once hot runs out, wait :20 m and continue filling. Not ideal, but you'll eventually get your soak on!) **Due to the age of the system and lack of parts, the jets no longer work. I'm sorry about that. Jump in the hot tub, where the jets are much better! OR just enjoy the large soaking tub. ★ COOK (or grab take-out) ★ •The kitchen's stocked with the basics: Microwave, toaster, blender, electric kettle, coffee maker (filters, too)...lots o’ utensils, plates, cups and tongs! (cuz “tongs” is such a fun word to say) Yes, we even provide some coffee and basic condiments (Salt, pepper, cooking oil, sugar, non-dairy creamer). Hit a local grocery store on your way up for everything else. •Grab your favorite piece of meat and fire up the charcoal grill for a mountain top cookout. (Bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.) ★ PLAY-Smart TV, Foosball, Games! ★ • Dim the lights, switch on the gas fireplace* and enjoy the entertaining flicker of the 32" flat screen TV from the comfy couch in the living room. Of course we’ll hook you up with 125 cable channels and a Smart TV (Enjoy your accounts on Netflix, Hulu, HBO and a ton more!). *Fireplace use is seasonal from October 1st - May 1st. • Challenge your favorite deckhand to a fierce foosball match (Aargh, the electronic score keeper is broken, but you can still play!). Open the treasure chest for a bounty of board games. • Rock out on the full-length screened porch in rocking chairs and listen to the relaxing nearby stream. There’s always something to do! (Rum is optional, but recommended.) ★ POOP DECKS ★ • Two small, but full bathrooms. You bet, clean towels and some starter soap (bring more if you're staying more than 2-3 nights) and hair dryer are included. No rude bathroom surprises here. • Since everyone loves doing laundry on vacation, we’ve got a stackable, compact-size washer and dryer. Soap included! Best vacay ever! :) ★ PACK YOUR BAGS & SET SAIL ★ Thanks for your time. I know choosing the right space to call “home” is as important as the destination. When looking at romantic mountain cabins, after a while, they all look the same. Which to choose? I promise, you won’t be disappointed at our cabin, Pirate Ridge. It’s the only pirate-themed cabin in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. An unforgettable experience awaits! Book now or save Pirate Ridge to your Wish List for another time. I'd love to share the cabin with you! Guest access Not as exciting as an alpine slide in Pigeon Forge, BUT feel free to open every door and explore every cabinet. Whooo-who! Are we having fun yet?? Our cabin is your cabin. Your vacation should be full of as many “Aye, Ayes!” as possible. Other things to note Depending on your mobile carrier, service can be sketchy in the mountains. Print or save to your phone directions and other important cabin info before taking off on the adventure! -Like most cabins, fireplace use is seasonal from October-April. Gas fireplace is OFF from April-October. -As mentioned, a starter soap and shampoo pack is included. Please bring more if you're staying more than two-three nights. Also, best to bring a couple extra plastic trash bags for stays longer than four days. -For your health and safety, the cleaners dump and refill the hot tub after each guest. Since they're refilling it with cold water, it takes a couple hours to heat back up. Turning it up to 103 doesn't speed the process, either. Please be patient, it will get hot. -Nautical-themed artwork is fragile. Please take as many pics as you’d like, but don’t touch hanging art, statues or canons. As the old, salty pirate says, “Ye break it, ye buy it.” -Most mountain cabins are on well water. Sometimes it's crystal clear, sometimes it's not. Sometimes it may have a slight sulfur smell, other times it won't. Bottomline: It's always safe to drink and soak in. -Due to sediment-rich well water, there's a stain in the hot tub. Don't worry, it's not dirty, just discolored fiberglass. -Since it's a mountain vacation you're after, in addition to all the great aspects, just know it also includes: curvy mountain roads, bugs, mice, scorpions, rattle snakes, bears, snowy/icy winter days, poor cell service. We do our best to keep the critters out and have a pest control guy come out regularly to inspect the cabins, but every once in a while critters and crawlies do get in. We can not be held responsible for any run-ins with wildlife. -No refunds for bad weather conditions. Please check the weather forecast before booking and dates of travel. In the winter, chains may be required. Occasionally, the mountain roads aren't drivable due to ice and snow.
