Aloha! Our beautiful single story home is less than a 5 minute drive from Palomar Hospital, Interstate 15, and the 78 Freeway. The home is in a small private development of semi custom homes. Within 20 minutes you can be at the PACIFIC OCEAN, LEGOLAND(west) SD SAFARI PARK (east), SD ZOO (south), and the Temecula wine country (north). Near Cal state San Marcos, University of St Augustine for Health Sciences, and Palomar college. **NOTE: NO Kitchen privileges and 31 day minimum stay** The space We live here. The HOUSE is nestled in hills of east San Marcos. Inside, you will find warm tasteful touches of Hawaii that echo some of our experiences on the Islands. There are multiple shopping centers within walking distance (downhill going and uphill coming back). We have a fire pit, charcoal BBQ, and a rear patio guests may use (please CHECK WITH US FIRST , if available).The ROOM itself has a queen bed , fresh linens, fresh towels, loaner bath robe(s), complimentary slippers, small desk/ chair, fan, heater, loaner beach bag( w/ beach towels & beach/mat), small ironing board, hangers, and extra blankets. We are both natives of the area, so we have a bit of a "locals' insight". We don't mind sharing some of our experiences of the area, if guests desire. **BEFORE ** BOOKING YOUR STAY, read ALL of the descriptions (ie: Guest access), and rules! NOTE: NO PETS, NO SMOKING, No Weapons, NO 420, NO DRUGS, NO GUESTS ( unless named on reservation). **We are NOT a " luxury resort", we "share" a room in our home (this is our primary residence which has one common area security camera, and 2 exterior security cameras) and our goal is to provide a safe ,clean, comfortable and affordable space. **There are NO KITCHEN privileges ; ie: NO Microwave, rinsing food ,dishes, washing, filling, cooking, heating, storing, meal prep, etc.(Do NOT ask ) **The guest bathroom is shared.** Guest access PLEASE read ALL of these descriptions and rules! *“Single” occupancy only*-NOTE: NO PETS, NO SMOKING, NO 420, NO DRUGS, NO GUESTS ( unless named on reservation), no illegal activities, illicit behavior, we want you to be safe and we want to be safe. ** This our home. We live here. Currently, we DO NOT ALLOW any KITCHEN privileges (DO NOT ask). We have had to endure some unfortunate experiences with previous guests in our kitchen. We have a fire pit, charcoal BBQ, and a rear patio guests may use (based upon availability). ** The front " formal' areas are for our guests to eat (dining table) and lounge (living room). ** There is a guest “shared” mini fridge in the hallway. A first aid kit and fire extinguisher is in this location. Also, a first aid kit and Fire extinguisher is in this location. Please remove your shoes, we are an "Island style-REMOVE da'shoes" house. No shoes are to be worn inside the house. ** Booked ALOHA Retreat guests may park one vehicle in the driveway, on the RIGHT side, (in front of single car garage-not in the center ). If you have a vehicle that is low to the ground, BEWARE we have a "rolled" curb driveway approach, which has a steeper angle. So body panels, spoilers, air dams, mufflers, exhaust tips, etc. MAY BE AT RISK! please be advised on your ASCENDING or DESCENDING the driveway. Street parking is typically available. Trash pick up is on Monday's. We own a small Boxer, who has his own outdoor kennel space and dog run. We ask that the guests please DO NOT DISTURB him. We hope this is helpful. We look forward to hosting you! Aloha! During your stay Do you happen to drink coffee? Just let us know. We can make extra, since we drink coffee in the morning. This our home. We would love to meet you. We live here and are typically just a phone call away. Other things to note We do have a washer and dryer you may use for a small fee. We are asking $2.50 USD cash per load (1 wash/dry= load).
