Apartment is equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay no matter if you travel for work or for leisure. The space The apartment is located on the 3d floor, reached by a beautiful wooden spiral staircase, in a stylish, cozy house with a unique authentic design. Medieval brick walls are combined with modern furniture, appliances and communications here. The house is located in a closed courtyard, because the noise of Old Riga is not heard here. The location of this property is a gift for those who want to get acquainted with the capital of Latvia. All the main attractions, the best restaurants and cafes, popular shops are within walking distance, so there is no need to use transport during the trip. The Dome Cathedral and St. Peter's Church are a 4-minute walk away, 3-minute walk to City Hall square, 2-minute walk to Livu square, 5-minute walk to Galerija Centrs shopping mall and Rimi supermarket. The building in which the apartments are located was built in 1258 as a Franciscan monastery. This is one of the oldest buildings in Riga! Nearby were found the remains of the altar of the medieval Church Paintings. The complex of houses in this courtyard was built from the 13th to the 20th century and is an architectural monument of national importance. Guest access At the disposal of guests will be the whole apartment: - two separate bedrooms with a double bed in each - living room with sofa, TV and dining area - kitchen with dining area, necessary appliances and utensils - bathroom with bath, toilet, sink and bidet, washing machine with drying function. Other things to note What we would like to warn our dear guests about: — the building is quite good hearing, so we kindly ask our guests to respect their, albeit temporary, but neighbours, — there is no elevator in the building; — the TV is connected to the Internet so you can watch your Netflix or Youtube channel. Cable TV is not available, — fireplace can be used with candles only (we provide them), — garbage bins are located outside the building (5 minutes walking away), because we are not allowed to keep them in a yard, — the kitchen hood is purely decorative, as the building’s structure does not allow for a dedicated kitchen ventilation system. However, you can use the central ventilation (the wall panel with arrow buttons located near the entrance) to help remove cooking odors, —the closest covered parking is at Zigfrīda Annas Meierovica Bulvāris 8, 6-7 min walking away.
