Charming house in the historic heart of Loix

Our small townhouse (a former wine cellar that has become a duplex of 70 m2 in total) is conveniently located in the heart of the most charming village of Ile de Ré. It's an authentic and simple place to stay. Ideal: - for a couple - as a "home addition" (for large family gatherings). We care a lot about our little home and expect our guests to take care of it as if it were their own. Welcome! JM & Amélie The space - On the ground floor: living room with equipped kitchen, table and four chairs, sitting area (sofa) and toilet. - Upstairs on the mezzanine: large room/bedroom (open to the mezzanine) with 2 double beds separated by a screen, a shower room with toilet and a washing machine. NOTE!: 1/ There is no TV or WiFi at our place. It's time to get out your books and board games to share real and happy moments with your family or just the two of you! (For the uninitiated: 4G works just fine ;) 2/ Linens are not provided; EXCEPT for stays longer than 7 nights. => Possible on request for an additional fee of €25/kit (full bed sheets + one bath towel). 3/ As water is a precious resource, especially on an island, we count on our guests to be reasonable with their daily consumption (showers/washing machine). Unfortunately, we have experienced "abuse" several times, which has also drastically increased our bill... We believe in trust and responsibility, and want to avoid establishing a real billing system. Thank you for your cooperation in advance. Guest access The street is one-way and parking is not allowed. Our cottage is located on the left side of the street; occasional parking (arrival – unloading / departure – loading) is possible just opposite, on the right side (number 10 on the street) by squeezing along the wall. Other things to note Bed sheets and large bath towels are not provided EXCEPT for stays longer than 7 nights. But available on request (extra charge of €25 per bed). Minimum basic equipment provided: - toilet paper, soap, small towel, paper towel, dishwashing liquid and linen. - kitchen "basics": salt/pepper, olive oil.
