The cottage is located in Newton Reigny which is a peaceful village 5 minutes drive from the historic town of Penrith. 5 minutes to the M6 and A66 allows for easy access to the Lake District World Heritage site (the closest lake Ullswater 15 minutes drive). Free parking on the property's driveway and space also available to store equipment. The space Sitting just 5 minutes from Penrith and the M6 this cottage is in an ideal place for exploring the Lake District, town and surrounding areas. The most direct route to the closest lake Ullswater we find takes no more than 15 minutes (although maps says 17!). The cottage is centrally heated by a renewable energy source. Downstairs it has a bathroom with a free standing bath and separate shower. Also downstairs is bedroom no.1 which has a king size bed with an electric blanket. Upstairs you will find the kitchen which has a microwave, oven and 4 ring induction hob. Joined on to the kitchen is the living and dining area which features original centuries old beams and stonework. This area also benefits from a wood burning stove which is the perfect way to relax after a day in the fells. The TV has all freeview channels and Netflix where you can watch movies, TV series' and documentaries. The cottage has keyless entry so guests are able to check themselves in at any time. Next to the cottage there is a heated utility room where guests are able to dry wet and muddy clothes/boots and store bikes/equipment.
