The Loft - Window on the Severn

The Loft is a beautiful self-contained apartment in the Forest of Dean, with breath-taking views over the River Severn. It can sleep three guests and is convenient for exploring the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean as well as just enjoying the peace and quiet of our rural setting. The space The Loft is a self-contained apartment located above our garage, separate from the main house. The apartment has a private entrance (stairs to first floor). This cosy holiday let offers: Wonderful views King size bed and single daybed En-suite bathroom Scandinavian wood burner Fully equipped kitchenette Guests receive a welcome pack of milk, butter, fresh bread and eggs from our chickens We live on a two-acre plot: half garden (with chickens, friendly dog and cats!) and half orchard and wildflower meadow on a gentle hill. We have swings and a slide, and the whole site is enclosed and far from any traffic. At the top of the hill we have a fire-pit and seating area, looking across the wonderful Gloucestershire countryside and the Severn river. Beyond this is a gate which leads you straight into the Forest of Dean. We are happy for guests to enjoy all these spaces. Guest access Guests are welcome in our garden. Other things to note Our nearest town is 3 miles away, with a TESCO and Marks & Spencer. We provide a loaf of bread, eggs, milk, coffee and tea on arrival, but ask guests to bring anything else they need with them. We have a lovely new Scandinavian wood-burner in the space, but there is no fireguard provided. One basket of wood for the burner is provided, and more is available to buy.
