What is the Tourist Tax? The tourist tax – governed by Article 4 of Legislative Decree no. 23 of March 14, 2011 – is the tax charged to those who stay in the accommodation facilities. Who pays the Tourist Tax: All those who stay in accommodation facilities in the Municipality's territory for up to a maximum of 6 consecutive nights in the same facility. RATE €1.00 per night per person. Children and teenagers up to the age of fourteen are exempt from paying the tourist tax. The accommodation tax must be paid in cash at the time of check-in.
