Located on a private dirt road, 1 mile from center of Woodstock. The space 3000+ sq ft home with two floors that include 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, office/playroom, newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms, sits on approximately 1.5 acres with a large open-plan top floor kitchen, a dining room, foyer with heated stone floors, outdoor deck, two fireplaces, and outdoor fire pit. It is located on a dirt cul-de-sac. Every room has a separate controllable thermostat for heat and there are window A/C units (in summer through Labor Day) in most rooms on the upper level. The home has an 82" TV screen on the main floor with Klipsch speakers for a theatre experience. We have high speed internet for video conferencing/working remotely. Select any lighting color mood on the Phillips Hue lights. Be creative and set the house to different color themes! There is also a second, smaller TV screen on the lower level floor that has built in services such as Netflix. Gaze up at night on the back lawn and view star constellations. Enjoy an evening roasting marshmallows or drinking wine in the Adirondack chairs at the fire pit. During the winter months when the trees don’t have leaves, take in the view of Overlook Mountain from the deck. During summer months, experience views of hundreds of flourishing hardwood trees. There’s a spacious outdoor fire pit with cedar Adirondack chairs and log stumps. Two Living Rooms & Two Fireplaces – The top floor has an indoor bluestone fireplace in the living room (built from bluestone quarried on the property) perfect for those cooler indoor evenings. The lower floor also has a living room with a fireplace. Deck – During the summer, the outdoor wooden deck has a large patio table with an 11-foot canvas umbrella. The deck is 15 feet above ground level, providing views of nature. A large gas stainless steel BBQ with multiple gas burners and a searing grill is located on the deck. Guest access Guests can access any part of the house. Other things to note The home has two floors. From the foyer, there are 7 steps up to the upper (main) level. From the foyer, there are 8 steps down to the lower level. We *REQUIRE* that renters have a history of existing positive reviews from other hosts in your profile. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. The private road is a dirt road. There are 3 wide bumps on dirt road (similar to speed bumps) to divert rain water to protect the road - so drive carefully with low vehicles. In the winter, AWD or winter tires are **STRONGLY RECOMMENDED**. Plow service starts only if more than 3 inches of snow has fallen. This is a Woodstock approved short-term rental. Permit #20N-092.
