This is our personal home away from the hustle of big city living and we're so happy to share our slice of desert heaven with you. Located magical and remote Wonder Valley, That Desert House mixes fun design details in the tranquility of the Mojave desert. We invite you to stay at our home and look forward to sharing our relaxing space with you and your family and friends that become family by truly disconnecting - no TV or wifi. Featured in Apartment Therapy and Dwell Magazine The space We have hosted guests traveling from all over the world and our hope is you'll be able to gather friends & family, get cozy in our home and enjoy the beautiful Mojave Desert and Joshua Tree National Park. That Desert House is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom 1400 sq ft property—great for friends, couples or a small family. We have comfortable couches and even more comfortable beds inside in addition to two cozy seating arrangements (an area for two and an area for four) outside for colorful sunsets, sunrises and star gazing. We invite you and your guests will check-in, kickback, unplug and start slowing down to enjoy desert life. We look forward to sharing the magic of the desert with you soon! • DEPOSIT We do not charge a security deposit. We welcome you and your guests to come to the property without an added security deposit or any extra holds of funds. You will not have to worry about any additional charges for accidental damages! Please inquire upon booking and we will help connect you with your private masseuse. • PRIVATE IN-HOME MEDITATION, REIKI & SOUND BATHS Connect with your soul during your desert stay. Experience a private or small group session of kundalini yoga, meditation, and/or sound bath by private teacher and energy guide. Reiki energy alignment sessions also available. Please be sure to call or email and schedule at least 24 hours in advance. • PRIVATE CHEF Looking to throw a dinner party to remember? We have got you covered! Our private chef is simply the best and she can cater that whatever your specific food needs would be. Please inquire with us and we can introduce you to her. More services added regularly, please let us know you are interested with a confirmed booking and we can help with the introductions! Guest access The house is fully yours while you stay. The property sits on an acre in a quiet and remote part of Wonder Valley with the backyard looking out over beautiful protected land that you can explore. Other things to note • Professionally managed by Hi-Desert Dwellings • CLEANING FEE As the top Professional Management Company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards and have been able to keep our rates low while still paying a living wage. 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. • A/C and HEAT The house is cooled by central air with vents in each room. These are used for both heating and cooling and should help keep you cozy all year round. • ROADS TO THE PROPERTY The property is located on about 5 miles of dirt roads. We send out specific directions to get to the property • FIREPLACE The indoor fireplace is not operational and should not be used. • HOT TUB Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Host and Host's employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest's household or guest's guests or invitees may have at any time against Host or Host's agents resulting from guest's use of the spa. • GUESTS You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests. • HOUSE AND PROPERTY Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Host and Host's employees and Owner, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest's household or guest's guests or invitees may have at any time against Host or Host's agents resulting from guest's use of the house and property.
