St James Bungalow with amazing sea views

A beautifully renovated sea side house with incredible views and in walking distance of the beach and Kalk Bay, one of the coolest neighbourhoods in the world (on a recent Forbes list). Has SOLAR PANELS & INVERTER- always has electricity (only the oven needs national power). There are views across the sea of Kalk Bay, Simons Town and Cape Point, False Bay and Stellenbosch mountains and Silvermine Nature Reserve mountains directly behind. One of the few houses in the area with a swimming pool. The space There is a contemporary kitchen, dining area and lounge, which opens up with stacking doors onto a large terrace with a swimming pool, covered sofa seating area, two sun loungers and a dining area. Both bedrooms are en-suite, each with sea views. All windows are double glazed and the bedrooms have standing fans. As at Nov 2024, all bedroom curtains are new, all exterior doors and windows are BRAND new (made of aluminium), and many interior walls and all external walls have been repainted. There is a lower level flatlet where one or two people and a dog may be staying- but they do not interfere with the privacy and enjoyment of the guests in the main house that is on the 'upper' level. They only share the path from the garden gate, and from there on, they enter the lower level flatlet, while the guests go up into the higher level main house. The guests are the only ones who can access and use the pool terrace. Guest access Guests have private use of all of the following: the higher level of the house (the 'main' part of the house), which as its own kitchen deck overlooking Kalk Bay, and a large pool terrace, which has a swimming pool, comfortable outdoor seating, an outdoor dining table and two sunloungers on it. Other things to note Please note the price is different for 2, 3 or 4 people. Therefore you cannot have more people to sleep here than you have booked and paid for. It is a breach of the house rules if you allow more people to sleep here than you have booked and paid for, and you will be charged the full day rate again for each day that happens. The house is located up +/-100 steps from the cul de sac below , which is where you need to park (there is no vehicle access). There is no secure parking for your vehicle. It must be parked in the public parking bays on the road. (That is where all residents of this road park) Unfortunately we cannot host children younger than 13 years old, nor any pets (even medical assistance dogs because they could cause problems with the dog that lives on the property).
