The space Our home 'Sowparnika Hermitage' is a Diamond rated home stay (by the Department of Tourism - Government of Kerala) at the heart of Fort Cochin. The lobby and communal spaces in our home are ordained with mural paintings depicting important scenes from the sacred Indian epic the 'Mahabharata'. The non Air-conditioned room has a double cot and a private washroom. The beds are comfortable with high quality pillows and linen. Located at the Heart of Fort Cochin, but away from the crowd and traffic our home is located in a residential area and is easily accessible by all means of transport. The Bus stop on the main road is only 100 meters from our property and Rickshaws are accessible from the main road. Our rooms are designed with a great deal of comfort and privacy in mind. All our rooms are furnished as seen in a traditional Keralian house. Guests have access to our full-fledged kitchen. The host family is always there to guide you on your experiments with South Indian Cuisine. Please do inform us if you are in procession of alcohol or alcoholic beverages during check in. Ask us to know about the legal limit of alcohol a person can carry. > Please ensure that you have the purchase bills in your custody for alcohol or alcoholic beverages you carry during your stay with us. > Consuming alcoholic or alcoholic beverages in public and open spaces in Kerala is a punishable offence. Consumption is permitted only indoors or at licensed premises. Please speak to us for more details. > Please contact us for assistance in reaching our house if the Cab / Rickshaw driver ask you to stay at a different place saying that he is unable to spot our home.
