Perfectly positioned for relaxation & country living with easy access from Buda to Austin, Wimberley, Dripping Springs, San Marcos, New Braunfels & more! Our family home is just next door & we are here to help make your stay comfortable, amazing & as private as you’d like. Welcome! The space This “stand alone” little house is an open family room/ breakfast bar/ full kitchen + a vaulted ceiling bedroom where you’ll find a queen bed/day bed with 2 twins/ a quiet nook for reading or journaling and the bathroom/laundry room. We have a twin air mattress as well as a pack & play available for Littles. **1-2 dogs allowed on approval basis only! Message with breed & weight prior to booking please. We ask for a $35 cash fee be left if approved. **No cats allowed. ** We will provide basic cooking utensils and kitchen supplies including: Pots + pans Olive oil + a few spices Peanut butter/ jam/local honey Chips + salsa to welcome you properly Oats + a loaf of bread Fresh eggs Coffee beans + hot chocolate+ assorted teas Our property is quiet (outside of weekday peak traffic hours when road noise can be heard) and beautiful - well suited for relaxing and breathing easy! We are located just: 10 minutes to quaint Buda + shops 25 minutes to eclectic downtown Austin + all things UT + live music + festivals nearly year round + delicious local flavors 10 minutes to the famous Salt Lick BBQ 30 minutes to whimsical Wimberley + vineyards 25 minutes to darling Dripping Springs + wedding venues 25 minutes to hoppin’ San Marcos + all things Texas State University + river rafting + outlet mall shopping And much more! Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage and patio outside the back door. There are 2 parking spots right next to the private entrance. Guests are welcome to enjoy a glass of iced tea on the porch or under the trees in the chairs/ picnic tables. Our family enjoys grilling and gardening, as well as sitting around the fire ring when it’s cool outside. We would love a friendly chat or to help with recommendations of “local flair”! Other things to note Late spring 2024, one of our sons & his bride moved into their tiny home on the northern edge of our property. The old shed sits between their home and the cottage obscuring the view between the two homes. Our friendly “ranch hands” are Lulu and Junie- our mother/daughter labradors. They keep the raccoons, roadrunners, squirrels, armadillos, opossums, and occasional fox guessing. They’ll be the first to greet you - tails a waggin!
