Mandala House is nestled in a peaceful quiet river valley in Pengosekan, south Ubud, within our traditional Balinese family compound, adjacent to our vegan restaurant, with rice field view and pool access. The house is ornate with the sacred mandala paintings of our grandfather, famous Balinese painter Dewa Nyoman Batuan. There is ample space to enjoy meditation and yoga, creating art, or focusing on work with our free WiFi , and meals and drinks can be served to the house from our restaurant. The space Food can be ordered from our restaurant, Siboghana Waroeng, and served in Mandala House. Balinese vegan cooking lessons and painting lessons available for an extra charge of 300,000 IDR per class. The bathroom includes hot shower and bathtub. Master bedroom has airconditioning. Laundry service available just across the street. Free WiFi and various spaces for sitting to work on projects, or socializing with guests. You'll get a welcome drink on arrival. Breakfast not included but there are various teas and coffee in the kitchen. Guest access Guests have access to our vegetarian restaurant, painting gallery, and pool. Other things to note Please note that this is a classic Balinese House, not a 5-star hotel. The houses here are designed for good air-flow to keep the house cool in the hot weather, which means that there are some insects that come in from the surrounding rice field, this just comes with the territory in Bali, even if you are staying at a 5-star hotel. The AC is only in the master bedroom, but there are 2 additional fans in the house, one in the 2nd bedroom, and one in the living room, which keep the house well circulated and cooler than the temperature outside. We are a small family and hope to help you in any way we can to enjoy your stay as much as possible. We can arrange cleaning service for you at any time for a very low fee of 50,000 IDR for 2 hours cleaning.
