The space Our comfortable top floor apartment has amazing views over Lagos and Monchique mountain. Conveniently situated close to the hustle of the centre, whilst still quiet and tranquil enough for you to have a good night's sleep! We have a comfy large double bed with a beautiful view to wake up to every morning :-) The spacious lounge opens up on to a balcony with great views and the kitchen is well equipped and modern. For the winter nights, there is also a log burning stove to keep the apartment cosy, as well as heating through the apartment. Just upstairs, there's access to a shared roof top terrace overlooking Lagos historical centre, Monchique mountain, marina and Meia Praia beach. Our apartment is about 30 seconds walk from the entrance to the historical centre, and about 15mins walk from the nearest beaches - Praia Dona Ana or Praia da Batata. *Free Wifi* Our apartment consists of: -Spacious entrance hallway -LIVING ROOM with balcony (views of Lagos rooftops and Monchique mountain), chairs and sofa, smart TV (130 international channels and Netflix), books and log burning stove. -KITCHEN with fridge, oven, stove top, kettle, toaster etc, all pots and pans, dining table. -BATHROOM with bath and shower. -BEDROOM with large double bed (with a super comfy, orthopedic 160cm x 200cm mattress!), storage and great views over Lagos, AC and ceiling fan to keep you cool on summer nights! -Easy access to shared ROOFTOP TERRACE with table, chairs and incredible views over Lagos historical centre, Monchique mountain, the gorgeous Meia Praia beach and the ocean. The apartment has air conditioning (which can be used to heat or cool), ceiling fans (for those who don’t like AC!), and heating throughout the apartment, as well as a wood burning stove! It can be hard to be eco-friendly whilst you're on holiday, and for us (living on a farm and at the beach as much as possible) we are very conscious of our impact on the environment! You'll find free reusable water bottles in our apartment, and reusable shopping bags to help reduce your ecological footprint during your vacation. We wash all bed sheets, towels and soft furnishings at home, with non-scented, environmentally friendly detergent, where the washing machine runs from the solar panel, and the water runs to our farm - where it's then reused to feed the trees and plants! We also use (as much as we can) eco-friendly cleaning products within the apartment :-) so you don't need to worry about any nasty chemicals! As much as possible we source our furnishings locally, to try to support and promote the small local businesses. If you have any other ideas for us to help reduce our ecological footprint, we are also open to suggestions! Lagos is easy to reach from Faro/Lisbon/Seville airport with a direct bus route. Lagos is a great historical town with an array of restaurants and bars, as well as the hidden picturesque beaches, grottos and caves. If you are looking for a bit more adventure, we can help you out with organising surfing trips, horse riding, mountain biking, kayaking, coastal tours and SUP. We have an Alojamento Local license - this means that we run a legal, tax paying business, and everything is up to the required safety standards!
