Everfree Shire Ranch is an 11 acre estate offering indoor lodging and outdoor camping accommodations for regular Air BnB visitors as well as those who need wide open country spaces. Great for short or long term stays! Enjoy a home-like atmosphere with motel-like amenities! Bedrooms are private, but there are shared common areas of the house and the outdoors. Please note, outdoor shared spaces (campers) are also present! House guests please use driveway for parking. The space NOTICE: One of the closet doors is straight up missing. This is a known issue. Room 2 has a queen size bed, office space, TV, closet, video games, mini-fridge and ambiance lighting. There is ample closet space available. Streaming services paid for already include: Netflix, Hulu, Max (HBO), Paramount + (CBS), Disney +, Prime (Amazon), Crunchyroll (Anime), and YouTube Premium (ESPN seasonally please ask). Please do not make additional purchases or upgrades on these accounts without permission. At the time of this posting the room has a PS5 setup. If you are reserving more than 24 hours ahead of time, other consoles and game title options are available by request. Please check the QR code for the library of games. Guests who arrive when a host in unavailable need not worry as the front door and room doors have key-coded access. You will be provided with the code on the day of or before arrival. Although the ranch has a light fantasy-world theme, please bear in mind real caution with Texas wild-life if exploring the outside vicinity. Interaction with the horses is an "at your own risk" activity and should be coordinated first with the host or seasoned long term guests. Make sure you list the appropriate number of guests! Failure to follow these rules will result in a cancellation at your own expense. Indoor furry pets are prohibited for now due to allergies at the time of this posting, but may change if my allergy shot regiment shows promise and other guests agree to a rule change so if its way out from April 2025 just ask. Smoking outside is fine, so long as you keep all your ashes to yourself such as a plastic bag. Vaping is also restricted to outside mostly due to complaints we've had in the past from other guests. Aromatic oil based fragrances may be available if requested ahead of time. Discounts are available for long stays (per reservation from the base price only): * 1 Week - 10% * 2 Weeks - 15% * 3 Weeks - 20% * 4 Weeks - 25% (Tax rebates sometimes apply at this level) * 5 Weeks or more - 30% (Tax exemptions sometimes apply at this level) Please keep in mind this only counts if you extend an existing reservation before your check-out time. Adding a 2nd consecutive stay doesn't count towards the discount. Guest access The keypad is directly above the door handle. Push any button on the pad to light up the numbers. Lightly touching it like an ipad is not enough. You must physically push it. Guests are welcome to use all common areas including the living room, kitchen, laundry area, and 2 bathrooms. There is also a master bathroom available by request for emergencies. Access to all yards, gardens, and unlocked fields is fine so long as taking precaution in tall grass and pasture areas. Sturdy boots are highly recommended. Please refrain from using the tree-house, which is under repair. If you need access to the shed, workshop, animal shelter, feed room, or need gates to pastures opened or closed, please ask for assistance. Indoor guests may also use the BBQ pit and picnic table area just like outdoor guests. If you need to use the laundry room / bathroom please KNOCK first. Wait for a response. If there is none, undo the latch on the kitchen side and enter cautiously. This area is also shared with the outdoor campers who have access from the outside. Do NOT leave the outdoor lock locked before exiting. When you exit the laundry area, return the latch to the original position. During your stay I am currently working 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays. Weekends are usually free. Please only knock on my door only for emergencies. Text me through the app and call me first. Other things to note IMPORTANT: Do NOT bring small children inside the horse area unsupervised or stand behind the horses! If you do not have experience with horses or know how to handle them, you could put yourself in serious danger. Horses, though tame, are prey animals and easily startled by unfamiliar things. Some of these horses are tamer than others and some are rescues from places where humans hurt them in the past and they are slow to trust. You have been warned that you interact with the horses at your own risk. If you'd like to meet and greet a horse already on the property just let me know! Sometimes that can be arranged. Air BnB's policy requires me to inform you that there is a security camera located outside the house pointed at the entrance and driveway area, cameras pointed at the side yards, a camera pointed at the garage, and one pointed at the tornado shelter entrance. These all have live feeds to my phone for safety and accountability purposes. Illegal drugs are strictly forbidden. Please be aware some items sold legally in Texas are illegal once heated due to chemical changes. The laws are constantly in flux. Snorting ANYTHING will be considered substance abuse and is against the rules. If you are on probation for anything you must check with me before booking. People with a history of violent crimes are asked not to book. The safety of other guests is a serious concern.
