The space Palm Tree Cottage is a bright and eclectic three-bedroom, cosy beach cottage/shack exuding warmth, comfort and laid-back vibes in the heart of Byron Bay. It's perfect for families or small groups travelling together. Featuring 2 Queen bedrooms and a children's room with two singles and a full-size cot. The cottage sleeps up to 6 guests (the two singles cannot be joined) plus one infant cot. The house would best suit a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children and one infant. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas are bright and spacious and perfect for your holiday. Our TV has a Chromecast connected, so hop onto your own Netflix or other streaming account or relax to some tunes via our Bose portable speaker. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and gas stove, stainless steel fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine with separate milk frother, Smeg blender, and an array of cooking equipment and utensils for the avid home cook! Should you opt to eat out, there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance, and we also provide recommendations for you. The newly renovated bathroom features a bath, a separate shower, and a separate WC. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and the living room, plus a large Dyson cooling system. We welcome furry four-legged family members, but please note they need to be over 18 months of age, fully house-trained, non-barkers and have their own bedding and sleeping rugs. We ask that you clean up excess pet hair and remove all waste. We have two beautiful dog-friendly beaches within a 5-minute drive from the cottage. Sorry, no cats allowed. The cottage opens onto a large sunny back deck with a large table to relax and enjoy dinner on those warm Byron evenings, a small Weber BBQ and outdoor laundry with washing machine, dryer and clotheshorse. The front of the cottage features a large outdoor deck, a HUGE grassed lawn and a large pirate ship cubby house for the kids! The home also has everything you need for children, so just bring yourselves, as everything from a few toys, children's books, mountain buggy pram, and a high chair is already there for you. Beach towels and bathroom towels are also provided. Parking is available on the property, and ample parking is on the street. For security reasons, there is one 24-hour security camera that monitors the driveway only—notifications are turned off when guests are staying. Also sometimes the cleaner may miss something so please let us know and, we will be happy to fix it. Please note that wifi is a complimentary service and has no bearing on the tarrif charged. We have unlimited fast broadband, but as Byron Bay is a regional town without city infrastructure, there can be issues from time to time. If you are travelling for business, or need to work during your stay, we recommend bringing your own internet. The owner’s insurance does not cover tenant’s personal possessions.
