Cozy AC Private Room in the heart of Lucknow

Welcome to a cozy private room in a house in the heart of Lucknow, a city brimming with history, culture, architecture, poetry, 'tehzeeb' and so much more. Our home is located 2 mins walk from Hussainganj Metro, a very central location from where the main markets Hazratganj, Aminabad, Charbagh Railway station, Airport, the Lucknow Heritage zone with the heritage monuments are all within 10 to 20 minute distances. We are open to host both short and longer stays of a month or more. The space Our home is on the ground floor and easily accessible even by disabled people. The room has a double bed for 2 people, and a folding bed or cot can be provided at extra cost if there are 3 people or a couple with a child, an attached bathroom with all amenities (shower, geyser for hot water, western toilet, toileteries), a common verandah, air conditioner, room heater (for winters), cupboard, tables, chairs, wifi, induction cooktop and a few cooking utensils to make your own maggi, egg, milk, cornflakes etc. and many more amenities. Breakfast (vegetarian) is not included in the room pricing, but can be ordered on payment and will be served between 9 to 10 am. We also serve home made vegetarian Lunch and Dinner, a typical Indian thali (rice, dal, roti, sabzi) at a very reasonable cost, with prior request. I feed five stray dogs, who are very friendly, and not the biting kind. Ocassionally they do enter our door and sit or sleep in the verandah. Guest access Guests can access the Verandah in front of the room. During your stay We are two people in the home - my mother and I, and a full time cook and servant. Someone will always be available during your stay here. I am a photographer and heritage lover and active in city forums and groups involved with heritage. Most of my guests have vastly enjoyed their visit of Lucknow with me as their heritage guide to the city and everything about it. I also conduct heritage walks to places of historical, cultural and architectural interest. I can make a customized itenerary for you so that you can have the absolute best possible stay, whether you are a culture, heritage, art lover, a food connoisseur or a shopping enthusiast. At a cost, I can even accompany you on local tours of the city and take you to places that many people are not aware of.
