Room is large and airy and inhabitants - humans and dogs - love to meet new people . We have a son in a wheelchair so the flat is very accessible. Ask if we can give you any more info! Hope to see you soon. The space Easy access to all that Edinburgh offers. Ideal for festival goers and close to University. Large, high ceilinged room in typical Edinburgh ground floor flat. The flat is very disabled friendly (ramp to front door, wet room/toilet) There is a brand new comfortable super king bed. All linen (cotton high thread count) and towels provided. The room is spacious but some of our papers are stored in it. You will be sharing the flat with Raymond, Anne, Stefan, a cat and 2 fluffy dogs (medium sized non-allergenic but very up for a cuddle Tibetan Terriers) Stefan is disabled & we have nurses who are awake and around all night. Your room will be your private space bit it's in a busy house so it does mean that if you want total silence at night this is maybe not the room for you. The room has: central heating, wireless internet access, hairdryer, toiletries, dressing gowns. You will have full (shared) use of shower room, separate bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. Welcome to use washing machine, cooking facilities etc. We do ask, though, that meals are taken in kitchen or at the table in the hall and not in your bedroom. (Snacks, drinks etc obviously ok). If the weather is good (not likely but you never know!) access to garden with barbeque and clothes drying line. Bruntsfield is a fantastic location - walking distance to Princes St, lots of buses, great wee shops. However, parking is a nightmare so wouldn't recommend it if you are coming by car. Guest access Kitchen/lounge, dining hall, wetroom, bathroom. We are also happy for any guests to join us in the main lounge and chat/watch TV etc. Your room is absolutely yours though. (room can be locked if you prefer) During your stay We love meeting new people and are happy to interact, give advice, share a wee glass of something alcoholic or non alcoholic. However we also realise some people prefer privacy so it is up to you. Other things to note Our son is very disabled - he has seizures and is like a very large, very friendly toddler - and this means our house is busy with nurses and carers but it also means that we love to welcome anyone who needs an accessible bed in an accessible flat. He loves people and really gains from all the people who stay here but it is important to note that your room is yours and there is no necessity to interact with anyone else. However just to repeat a previous warning he can be noisy so please don't book if you are looking for guaranteed peace and quiet! Registration Details EH-71217-F
