The room offers a double bed, sleeper-couch, camp cot, WiFi, full DSTV and a secluded patio space to entertain or bask in the sun. Secure, fenced and gated with independent street access and parking. Easy walking distance to the railway station and high-street lined with restaurants, shops, the naval base and waterfront where you can take a boat to Seal Island or whale watch, shark-cage dive or hire a kayak to paddle around the shores. Just 5 minutes drive to the famous Boulders Beach and Penguin Reserve Beach and only ten minutes by car or train to the charm of Kalk Bay fishing harbour and village. Simon’s Town is ideal territory for scenic drives and cycle rides and only a 15 minute drive from Cape Point. Guest access There is a second double bedroom fifteen metres away with ensuite bathroom (shower) available for rent on the same property which also enjoys independent access from the street, with a deck and great view of False Bay. It also offers DSTV and WIFI. Other things to note There are two off-licences in the village open everyday except Sunday as well as an excellent pharmacy. My husband Simon is very knowledgeable on local cycling / walking routes and we can store your bicycle in our garage.
