A lovely apartment with amazing views, close to the slopes and just above the resort centre of Meribel. This apartment is on 5 separate levels and so feels like you're in a chalet. It has an alpine treehouse feel, sleeps 7 (or 8) with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The balcony and Bedroom 2 both enjoy stunning views of the Meribel valley. The slopes are a short 4 min walk away - and then a quick ski straight to the main Chaudanne lift area. The centre of Meribel is a 10 minute walk downhill. This is a fabulous apartment with a totally unique interior, like an alpine tree-house. We have loved having many ski holidays here. You can have breakfast, sitting at the table overlooking the whole valley, watching the sun come up and the lifts open. A jacuzzi bath is an option when you come back in from a hard days skiing and in the evening you can retire up the first flight of stairs to the living room where you can relax. There are 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 - twin or double with en-suite jacuzzi bathroom. Bedroom 2 - raised double bed so you can look straight out over the valley. Shower room adjacent. Bedroom 3 - a raised single and two twins or double underneath. Living room - comfortable space to relax with a bathroom off it. Kitchen - Open plan kitchen/diner with superb views. Balcony - off the kitchen/diner. A beautiful South and West-facing place to sit and enjoy the sun and views. The apartment is situated on a quiet road with a 10min walk to the centre. At night it is totally quiet with no pub and nightclub disturbances in the early hours or bin lorry noise in the early morning. You have the apartment all to yourselves. You come in the main front door of the chalet block, and walk down one flight of stairs to get to the apartment. To get to the ski lockers, you walk a farther 2 flights down where there’s an exit door to lead you to the road where it’s a short walk to the slopes. During the winter season the apartment is centrally heated. For the rest of the year the heating is turned off, but portable heaters are provided. There is limited parking on the forecourt of the building. Please only park one car here. It is a 10 minute walk to the nearest bus-stop, to the town centre, and to the shops and amenities. We are an English family who have been working in Meribel for 19 years so we are available in the winter should you have any questions. In the summer our local agent will be in resort should you need anything. We'll be on the end of the phone. This apartment is situated in a quiet spot just above the hustle and bustle of the Meribel Centre. Therefore you won’t get woken up by late night drinkers on their way from the bars to the night club and back home again. There are no dustbin lorries in the early hours along the road. It is quiet and tranquil. This season there is so much to do until the ski lifts open - there is ski-touring, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, luging, beautiful walks. Just ask us for details. Meribel is an amazing resort in the summer and the winter. In the summer you can bike ride, walk, play golf etc. You can park by the apartment building, and it's a short drive to the centre of Meribel, the lift area, the golf course etc. It's a 10 minute walk down the hill from the apartment to Meribel. In the winter the skiing boasts the largest ski area in the world. Situated in the middle of the Three Valleys means that you can hit first slopes in Meribel or Courchevel. It’s not far to head over to Val Thorens. You can ski directly from La Folie Douce and Rond Point Apres Ski Bars after the lifts have closed. It’s a short ski, and you are at the bend in the road from which it’s a short walk back to the chalet. There are free buses in resort during the winter. The nearest bus stop is about 10 minutes walk.
