GoozyVision Trip to South Haven,Michigan July 2017 The video also shows the beach and the town The space This was a 1880s farmhouse but has been though many changes and looks more like a cottage. It does not feel like a suburban or city house, it's upgraded but still quaint.You are always aware of the outdoors because there are lots of windows and doors looking over the gardens and one of the ponds.There is a screened porch across the front of the cottage and a big deck down the side over looking one of the ponds with a gas grill and outdoor table and chairs. Guest access There is the house,exclusive use of the (not heated)pool, and over 100 acres that you can roam. Some parts are manicured,some natural.There are beautiful spots on the bluff overlooking the Black River to set and finish your morning coffee or to watch the sunset with a cocktail.Some areas look like they could be in a state park with hemlock covered ravines down to the Black River.There is a path through the birch and pine forest that leads to the untouched hardwood forest,where you need hiking gear to comfortably explore.There are trilliums and mushrooms in the spring and wild blackberries in the summer.There is a fire pit surrounded by comfortable chairs for watching the stars and listening to the frogs. There is a lot of wildlife to see.There are many deer and wild turkeys and all kinds of birds including cranes and and prehistoric looking herons. Other things to note Check in time is 3:00 PM Check out time is 11:00 AM There is No Smoking inside the house There is a 3 night minimum during July and August.
