Sydenham Valley Cottage - Napier

Large, newly remodeled room in the historic village of Napier with a beautiful view of the Sydenham River. Located in a quiet area with a treed in property & lots of wildlife. We have a cot that can fit in the room and there is a private bathroom with laundry available. Relax on the patio and listen to the river in the valley. We are 15 minutes from Strathroy, 20 minutes from 401 access and 10 minutes from 402 access. We are close to Alvinston, Glencoe, Watford, Mt Brydges & Petrolia. The space The room is a private guest suite in back half of our home. There is AC during the summer and heat in the winter, with an additional space heater if desired. The room has a 32" HDTV with Netflix. The bathroom features a large marble stand up shower, toilet, large vanity, and also has a washer and dryer. The Sydenham River wraps around the 4-acre property and it has a stunning view of the Napier bridge. Be sure to bring running shoes or boots as you are welcome to take a nature walk through our wooded area in the valley. Guest access Guests have access to the private bedroom, private bathroom, the grounds in the valley and common deck space with a barbecue. There is a coffee bar for use which includes a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and Keurig coffee maker with milk, cream and sugar. During your stay During your stay, you can enjoy total privacy with minimal interaction with guests or hosts. The owner lives on the premises in the main part of house and is available if needed, please message through the Airbnb app. There is an electric keypad door lock with your own personalized code for added security, but if you would like recommendations on restaurants or things to do we would be happy to give you some insight on hidden gems in the area. Other things to note We are located on a gravel road but only a short distance from paved roads. Weekly rates are also available.
