Dotty’s Place Downtown is a unique 1910 all refurbished large studio apartment. Private entrance with views of the Sinclair Inlet. One block from downtown Port Orchard, two blocks from the foot ferry to Bremerton & Seattle. Dotty’s is conveniently located to restaurants, bars, shopping and the waterfront Marina. This space is cozy with modern amenities, cotton linens with a comfy memory foam queen size bed. The living room has a smart TV & internet with a comfy sofa. With a new full kitchen! You can walk anywhere downtown Port Orchard from Dotty’s Place. There’s free parking if you have a car with our ‘parking pass, during the week. Parking is free all day on Saturday and Sunday and after 5pm weekdays. Dotty’s was named after ’Dotty’s Beauty Parlor’ from the 1970’s. The third owner of this 1910 property did an addition to the house for her own business. We are paying tribute to her with our name for the space. We have made the space warm and inviting. There is a key pad for easy entry. Guests are welcome to enjoy the front stoop, and side flower gardens, we live right downtown and there many lovely places to explore. At the end of Prospect Street there is the Sidney Art Gallery which is hidden treasure, also downtown is known for its antiques stores. Enjoy walking along the Waterfront Marina! We are available anytime with a simple text message and we will respond with in the hour. Other than that the space is yours to enjoy. We live on the property and are around most of the time. We do have a few small dogs that may park when you enter, then they are quiet. We respect your privacy as we hope you will respect ours, please enjoy! We have a fabulous neighborhood, deserts are a short block away at Carters Bakery, right near the pedestrian path along the water and to the foot ferries. Peninsula Brewing for tasty beers and good grub! Sue’s juice and Sandwich Shop and Dock Eats are inside the Bay Street Market. There’s also the Brick House and Bat Street Bistro for food. We also own and run Holy Water A Heavenly Lounge which is just around the corner at 537 Dekalb St. You can walk all along downtown, if you have a bike there are great places for riding along the water and there are places to dine or have drinks along the way. If you come by car you can drive along the water down to Southworth to Manchester State Park. You can also get on HWY 16 to Gig Harbor or Tacoma or head the other direction to Bremerton or Poulsbo. We are centrally located to so many areas in the NW The space is private and inviting, we encourage our guests to relax and enjoy their visit. We are careful to make sure that Dotty’s is super clean!
