The cabin is located on a private wooded hill top with great sunrise and sunset views. You can drive up and park next to the cabin. The cabin is very basic one room structure with a queen size bed, tables and chairs. Bathrooms, shower, furnished wifi loft, coffee, electrical outlets, and kitchen space, are located a short walk away inside the Events Barn shared space. No electricity at the cabin itself but it does have battery operated lights. No air conditioning. Our space is unique in its location and century old charm. A simple place to bring the kids or enjoy a break in the country. You will have access to walk the farm gardens and fields or hike / bike the country roads. Community fire pit located in the farm yard with wood provided. The wifi lounge in the Events Barn is a great shared space for computer work. Enjoy the century old farm setting. Check out the renovated 1874 dairy barn that is now used for weddings and events. Just 3 miles from Charlevoix and public beaches. We are located on bicycle route 35 North. *Shared Spaces: There is a community fire pit with wood provided just across the yard. A basic coffee set up and hot water maker is in the barn kitchen, In the kitchen you have access to a refrigerator/freezer, two double sinks and electrical outlets. No cooking allowed in the kitchen or in the cabin but you can use the kitchen space for preparing basic cold meals, lots of tables and chairs to sit down and eat at. You can also set up a camp stove outside. Most guests go to one of the many restaurants in town or order take out. We are a working produce and berry farm and are very busy during the summer months, we are happy to get you settled and are available when needed. We are located on a short gravel road that is nice for walking. You can also walk or bike the main paved road which is part of bicycle route 35. It is about a 3 mile bike ride into town past nice farms on rolling hills. Lots of local beaches and small lakes for fishing nearby. Deer and turkeys are a common site on the farm. Amenities are all housed in the Events Barn and are shared with other airbnb guests and farm visitors. We recommend you bring your own battery operated lanterns/flashlights to reach the facilities at night.
