The Farm Stay Guesthouse sits up high with beautiful views of the meadow, pond, woods beyond, and breathtaking sunsets. The guesthouse is sunny and spacious with a queen sized bedroom. The kitchen has anything you’d need to enjoy your locally sourced Maine lobster and steamers. The property hosts lovely walking/mountain bike trails. Winter, the trails are groomed for neighborhood X-CC skiing trails! There is a Summer Sandy beach pond that transforms into a seasonal skating pond. Always fun! There is a lovely place to sit on your private deck overlooking the sunsets or morning coffee. A Roku device is on the large screen TV for access to all of your viewing accounts. I’m in the main house, or a text away, should you need anything to make your stay at the Farm Stay Guesthouse more delightful! There is a sweet trail system on the 17 acres of our wooded/meadow property. You are welcome to wander the fruit orchard, paddle/ice skate on the pond, or X-CC ski the trails in Winter. (When conditions allow). Lots to see and do here! I’ll leave you a key for the guesthouse inside door entrance, (there are 2 entrances). You can call, text, or stop in for anything from a cup of sugar, to directions to our favorite secret spots to play. Maine is a magical place, and the Farm Stay sits with in 15 min drive, bike, or hike to just about anything you can dream of. The Farm Stay sits on a private dirt road off of a rural neighborhood in North Yarmouth. All of our neighbors are kind, friendly and helpful. Our property is quietly secluded down the lane from the main road. You’ll need a car to get around, but if you prefer to stay out of the car, after accessing the amenities of the Farm, there are trails 1/2 mile walk away. A 5 mile bike ride takes you into Yarmouth Center for pizza, smoothie shops, antiques, and local book store. Enjoy! The Farm Stay is a 15 minute drive to the shopping in Freeport. There are 5 different “around the corner” hiking trailheads, Bradbury Mountain is a 5 minute drive and hosts the BEST mountain biking and hiking in this area. The old Port is an easy 20 minute drive for incredible breweries, locally sourced restaurants, and shopping. Hop on the ferry with a daypack and bathing suit to explore the Islands of Casco Bay. There are 4 beaches (2 local secret gems), botanical gardens, the Desert of Maine, bird apiaries, and fishing rivers and lakes with in 20 minutes in every direction. Welcome to “Vacationland!”
