Within walking distance to everything: shopping, Fine or Casual dining, our Hudson River dock, hiking trails (Breakneck Ridge and others), even a supermarket, drug store, and post office! Off street parking for 1 automobile, and free on street parking Mondays through Thursdays. Just a 7 minute walk from the Metro North train station to and from NYC. Leave your car at home, or bring it and park off-street, steps from your private entrance. Within short walking distance to nearly everything: Shopping, fine or casual dining, wine shops, the Hudson River, many hiking trails, even a supermarket, drug store, and post office! Leave your car at home or in our village driveway. Breakneck Ridge, Little Stony Point, Bull Hill Summit, Foundry Preserve are just a short walk away. Guests can also easily visit Beacon, one stop north by train or 15 minutes by auto. There, you’ll find more shopping, dining, art galleries, and the renowned DIA art museum. Apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, kitchenette & bath. In the main room, the queen bed shares space with a living room area decorated in “Mission” style, adjoining the eat-in kitchen with seating for 3-4. South facing windows create a light filled space. Passing through a draped door is the cozy 2nd BR with a full (small double) bed. Please note that guests must pass through the 2nd BR to reach the bathroom. Guests have access to our large backyard, brick patio, garden & Koi pond. Please note, the large pond has a depth of 4 feet. For safety reasons, children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times. The residence comes equipped with microwave, coffee maker, french press & teakettle, a 2-burner electric stove, plates, glasses & utensils for four; Fresh linens & towels, hair dryer & iron, and bathing soaps. There is a 2 night minimum for booking Friday & Saturday and select Holiday weekends. If you want to book more than 3 persons, including infants/toddlers, please note there is an additional $50 fee for the 4th person. The Private Entrance is around the back, ground level, no steps. Parking is down the driveway, and with a hard right, you may park right in front of your apartment door. Please use only this spot to park, as other residents have assigned spaces. Always available if needed. We live right next door, so we are available to be of assistance, or for advice as to the best spots to eat, good hikes, or exciting places to visit. If you see us at the fishpond, join us (we locals have secret spots)! Three other 1 BR apartments are above you, accessed from the front of the brownstone, so please be mindful of excess noise. Quiet time is observed after 9pm at night. Private...Quiet...located in village central, and a stones throw from Main Street.
