The home is connected to The Yellow Palace, which King Frederik the 6th bought in 1810 and in 1837 King Christian the 9th lived there until 1865 where he moved next door to Amalienborg Palace, the home of our Queen and future King. The space The kings apartment has been refurbished to it's former glory. This is a former nobility house built in 1757. It has been the home for noble families and other aristocrats in Denmark’s history. The house is actually connected to The Yellow Palace, which King Frederik the 6th bought for the royal family in 1810 and in 1837 King Christian the 9th moved in until 1865 where they moved one door down to Amalienborg Palace, where even today our Queen and the future King live.
