Beautiful, dog friendly, lakeview home on the north side of Big Bear Lake. This airy 2 bedroom, three bathroom chalet is the perfect place to enjoy all that Big Bear has to offer! One block from the lake and Captain John's Marina where you can rent kayaks, paddle boards, or pontoons, and only a 10 minute drive to the ski slopes or the Village. You will be staying in my personal, beloved second home that boasts amazing views of the lake and ski slopes, with frequent bald eagle sightings! The space With two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms, and a pull-out sofa upstairs that can either be used as two singles or one queen size bed, and a full third bathroom upstairs, this house more than comfortably accommodates six. The upstairs has an amazing airy and open floor plan, with unparalleled views of Big Bear Lake, the ski slopes, and San Gorgonio. Three separate decks, plus a patio with an outdoor dining table, a large and luxurious hot tub, a comfortable outdoor sectional sofa, a fire pit table and a charcoal grill will allow you to enjoy the stunning surroundings to their utmost potential - no matter the time of year! The full kitchen is any chef's dream for some vacation creations, and better yet - you have that amazing view while cooking AND eating! Well-trained dogs are welcome, and there is even a fenced-in backyard so your furry friends can enjoy their time here as well. Guest access You will have full and private access to the entire house and property minus one locked closet in the master bedroom and the storage shed in the back of the house. Other things to note 1) There are MANY stairs leading (two flights) up to the house, so this house is not appropriate for those with limited mobility. 2) The driveway is rather steep, but has plenty of space for two vehicles. It cannot accommodate oversized vehicles such as RVs, however. You may also park at the base of the driveway and walk up if you prefer. 3) This is a dog friendly property. My cleaners do their absolute best to remove any and all pet fur between guests, however, if you are allergic to dogs or offended by small amounts of dog hair in any way, this is probably not the property for you. 4) Unfortunately I do not allow cats, only dogs. I’m sorry I can’t welcome your kitty friends but I’m incredibly allergic and I use the house often myself. 5) This is my personal house that I share with others when I cannot be there, not a corporate owned or professionally managed property, as was the original intent of AirBnB! I provide amenities to make my guests comfortable (such as mini toiletries, a hot tub, a hair dryer, a coffee maker and fully stocked kitchen, etc), it is professionally cleaned between guests, and I will always do my best to assist with any issues that arise during guests’ stay as quickly as possible. But if you are looking for a hotel-like experience, rather than a quaint personal cabin with extraordinary views, this also not the property for you. Registration Details CESTRP-2023-00772
