Serenity, nostalgia and cleanliness are the first things that you can recognize immediately when you come to our place. Located in the old quarter, The house is designed with minimalism architecture which would bring a sense of comfort and convenience to anyone staying here. The house is in one of the oldest lanes in Hanoi and has been an indispensable part of my family for over 60 years. You can have a panoramic view to many French colonial architectural buildings and Vietnamese housing style. The space 1. LOCATION AND SPACE: (Note: Potential for noise from Bars nearby at midnight - for Light sleeper please consider carefully) Trần Home is an ideal, private place in the middle of the city that keeps you away from all of the workaday worries. The Penthouse is on the 5th floor (top of the building) and has been newly renovated yet in the building was built a long time ago. The neighborhood brings you an old Hanoi trace, nostalgic atmosphere with a view to a French colonial architectural building. Additionally, because the house is on a pedestrian food street, you can access easily to a series of restaurants, convenient stores, bars and clubs. You will like the minimalist design of the room with mainly black and white, bringing along a sense of cleanliness. We have all the things that you may require: queen size bed, extra bed, hygienic bathroom, strong Wifi electronic devices like AC, mini-fridge, smart TV (With Netflix streaming service),... The house has a wide and lovely rooftop. This is where you can enjoy sunlight with a cup of coffee in the daytime or cool breeze with a bottle of beer when the night falls. 2. LIVE LIKE LOCALS: Staying with us you will learn how to live like a real Vietnamese. Surrounded by friendly neighbors, with a lot of sidewalk eateries just outside the lane, you will be taken care from head to toe, from a perfect sleeping time to a pleasant experience. 3. EASY ACCESS TO ANY PLACES: We are on the most famous and traditional Vietnamese street food of Hanoi! In addition, every weekend nights, our street will transform into Walking food/entertainment street. * 10 steps to Bach Ma temple - Vietnamese traditional live music on the street perform by Children. * 1 mins to Bia Hoi street - Modern live Music on the street * 1 mins to Ma May street - " Chau Van"- a traditional folk art of northern Vietnam * 3 mins to the Night market Within walking distance, you will reach a wide range of supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, bars & clubs and also many famous tourist attractions (The information of those addresses is shown in detail in our printed guidebook) 4. SAFETY: Don't worry about getting late or the deep lane because the house is located in a safe area, surrounded by lots of local people who have been living here for generations Guest access You are free to use the elevator, equipment in the room and access to the balcony, rooftop in the building. We also have good laundry service with reasonable price. During your stay Do not treat us with a host-and guest relationship, let consider us as your friends. You are going to stay in the same building with us so most of the time we will be there when you check-in, check-out or need anything. We love to take you out, spend time with you, show you around and inspire you with all the things we know about Hanoi when we are available. Additionally, we also provided a printed guidebook in which you can find lots of useful recommendations. Other things to note The toilet and bathroom are combined into one room due to our location's limited space, so the bathroom may be smaller than expected. We hope this information helps manage expectations and prevents any potential dissatisfaction with our accommodations. Because there are many bars surround here so it may be noisy at night. When you are not in the room, please help to turn off the light and Air conditioner. There will be a penalty if you fail to do so, please bear in mind and comply. Our house is at the end of a deep lane with a big yard, where we and our neighbors living around there share the space with each other. When you first come, you may feel a little bit insecure due to its length but believe me, it’s totally safe because there are a lot of people live there and all of them are nice. Moreover, the lane and yard are only the common space so it’s completely comfortable for you to stay privately at our place. Please be aware of excessive noise caused by the steel door. We will show you how to use it gently when we meet in person. The floors are tiled with stone which will be cold in the winter. We don’t want you to experience this inconvenience, so we leave indoor slippers in the room.
