Full 2-story home on Chocolate Ave in Hershey, PA. Lots of room for the kids or friends to play in a fenced yard. Close to all things Hershey, Giant Center, pubs, restaurants, medical center, and more. Order takeout from a local restaurant, or cook a meal in the well-appointed kitchen. Relax in the rocking chairs facing East Chocolate Ave. Just minutes to Downtown Hershey, Hersheypark, etc. Also close to sports complexes in Palmyra and Lancaster. Garage parking for 2, plus 3rd off-street spot. The space is peaceful and fun. It has hardwood floors on the main level, carpeted 2nd floor, and is kept very clean. There is a large fenced-in back yard with private entrance for you to use. Both the front and rear doors use a secure key-code and check-in/out can be flexible. There is also a washer and dryer on the 1st floor. Each floor has a full bathroom. Since this is Chocolate Ave, there is traffic going in and out of town. In case you need them, there are sound machines in the 2 front bedrooms to drown out some of the traffic. Also, don't be surprised by the occasional train whistle that can be heard throughout the entire town as it delivers ingredients to the West Hershey chocolate plant. You and your guests may use the entire property. Please don't allow children to play in the basement or attic (there's nothing fun there, anyway). This property is approved by local Derry Township and it is important to follow the house rules to maintain this approval. Chocolate Ave is the main street in Hershey. It's full of diverse local shops and some larger chains that you'll recognize. From the house itself, you can easily walk to Palermos Pizza, Sawasdee Thai, and Wasabi Bistro. Check the Guidebook for additional details about the area. For the main Hershey attractions that aren't walking distance, it is a short drive or you can easily find an Uber. There is a more "quiet" road (E Derry Rd.) behind the house that runs past the Hershey Country club and may be a more convenient way for you to get to Hersheypark, Giant Center, Troegs Brewery, and Tanger Outlets. It is a short (<5 min) drive to get downtown to the Kiss-shaped streetlights, the Hershey Story museum, and other fun shops and activities.
