Charming Ticinese house with large garden

Sunny 18th century house. century, newly renovated with a large garden on the outskirts of Arogno. Arogno is south-facing, shielded by a range of hills from the noise of highway and train traffic and yet is close to it and 10 minutes by car from the lake and train station. The house is particularly suitable for relaxing in the countryside, as a starting point for hikes or cultural and swimming holidays in Ticino. At the lake there are countless swimming spots. In Rovio, there is a waterfall with a swimming pool. The space The apartment is bright and quiet. The 4 rooms consist of a kitchen-living room with fireplace, a bedroom, a parlor and a dining, home office or craft room. The kitchen is equipped with a cool pantry, dishwasher, induction stove, fridge and freezer and oven and has dishes for 24 guests. The house has pellet heating. In the garden, a house spring bubbles from the fountain. There are numerous opportunities for outdoor dining: on the square in front of the house, under an arbor, under the plane tree or simply in the garden. Guest access Guests use the entire lower apartment alone. Seating areas in the garden are all mowed lawn, the forecourt and the pergolas. The meadow belongs to the butterflies and the flowers. The vegetable garden is maintained and used by us. If there are a lot of vegetables, we like to give them away. Children are allowed to snack without restriction. Herbs can be used by everyone. In particular, it has sage, rosemary, oregano, thyme, peppermint, basil, chives, parsley and lovage. Wild herbs can be collected anywhere. A sliding charcoal grill and a metal bowl for outdoor fire is available. Other things to note In the basements of all Arogno, individual scorpions (Euscorpius italicus) can appear in autumn or after rain. They naturally live in the dry stone walls of the region. They are harmless to humans and endangered in Switzerland (the sting should theoretically be like a wasp sting. I don't know anyone who has ever had a sting, not even my children who grew up here). I transport them outside in a marmalade jar and cardboard box.
