The Guest Cottage in the Redwoods

Turn of the century summer cottage with sleeping loft and lots of windows nestled in the woods. A peaceful get away to appreciate nature at its finest, giant redwood trees, ferns, and creeks surround our little cottage. Whether you want an adventure on the mountain trails or a quiet escape, this is the spot. The space Our cottage is perfect for one or a couple. You'll ascend the spiral staircase and find the sleeping loft complete with a double mattress, organic sheets, bedding, soft pillows and a peek-a-boo window facing Mt. Tam. Do note, the sleeping loft is in the peak of the ceiling. You can not stand in the loft. The kitchen has all of the essentials and bathroom stocked with organic toiletries. Guest access Just steps from the famous Mount Tamalpias biking/hiking trail, Railroad Grade. Walk to the charming downtown of Mill Valley, enjoy an Equator coffee and snack. Peruse the local bookstore and pick up a new read, shop the local boutiques and have lunch at one of the many restaurants. You can also enjoy morning tea outside on the patio with surrounding gardens, before hitting the trails or driving to the coast. Other things to note There is very limited, if any, cell service at the cottage. You can use facetime audio calls and sms messages if needed.
