My home is a semi-detached property in a quiet cul de sac located in the pretty village of St. Briavels, close to the Wye River and on the edge of The Forest of Dean. From here there are walks in the forest, canoeing, and paddle boarding on the River Wye, Go Ape treetop challenge, mountain biking tracks for all abilities plus family friendly days out. Please look at the Guidebook for more options. There is off road parking for two cars and storage for up to 4 bikes at the property. The space Downstairs there is a cosy living room with comfy seating, desk, a log burner (logs available at additional cost), board games, a desk and a television, a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate dining area with extendable table. The kitchen has all amenities and a large American style fridge. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms both with wardrobe and drawer space and 1 has an ensuite with hairdryer and television. There is also a single room with small TV and DVD player. The house is not suitable for very young children as no cots or stair gates can be provided. There is a small patio and a large playing field and playground a short walk away. Guest access All except for a private bedroom which is locked and only used whilst the house is not booked. Other things to note Storage for up to 4 bikes in a lockable shed. There is a pub and shop in the village. There are supermarkets easily located in Coleford, Lydney, Monmouth and Chepstow. Please contact us before charging any electric vehicles.
