Welcome to our home! We offer a private bedroom and bathroom with a terrace (Queen sized bed + bunk bed). We've turned our house into a homestay-like guesthouse for people who want to explore new cultures, lifestyles, share some interesting cross-cultural stories, and last but not least, save their traveling budget! Get a taste of local life in our secluded home, away from the hectic Bangkok city yet easily accessible to many attractions that the city has to offer - the best of both worlds!! The space LIVE IN A 47-YEAR-OLD HOUSE The house was originally built in 1976 and has recently been renovated. In order to preserve the spirit and ambiance of this fine house we opted to use original wood paneling and floorboards to give you a unique-rustic feel. We have decorated in a bohemian style while remaining loyal to the Thai charm of our home. On the ground floor of our house, we run a cafe (from 11am-9pm) that offers authentic Thai cuisine and home brewed coffee/tea with decors that give a rustic feel. The room for guests is upstairs with a private entrance, where we offer a chill bohemian feel. It has heaps of natural light and plants that will make you feel like you are really in a jungle oasis but with all the modern amenities of Bangkok. It has a comfy queen-sized bed and bunk bed, it also comes with its own private bathroom. The room comfortably sleeps four people with plenty of space for you to unwind after a day full of adventure. On top of that, there is a terrace with 2 authentic Thai wooden chairs and a round table for guests to enjoy their drinks at and enjoy the comfortable breeze. Guest access Guests can access the whole of our ground floor, their private room on the first floor, the private terrace and the two authentic Thai wooden chairs with a round table provided for the balcony! They are also more than welcome to use our; • Living room/common area (shared), • Private bathroom (in the room), • Bathroom downstairs (shared), • Private terrace, • Front garden, • Shared Kitchen - fridge (to store your food/drinks), microwave, dishes, cutleries, glasses and teacups, • Instant coffee and tea at any time and, • Wifi. During your stay We are a family of five Thais and one cat so you can expect a very local experience with us and we are elated to offer our help on how to best spend your time in Bangkok - we do speak English so fret not! As a host, making sure the guests are safe/comfortable/satisfied are our no.1 priority and we will do everything and anything we can in our power to make sure you have a pleasant stay. But at the same time, we aim to make this place into a home away from home so instead of treating you like paying clients, we would like to see you as our friends, or even as part of our family and for you to feel at home! To tell a little about myself, I am a flight attendant who is very outgoing, fun-loving, and open-minded person who loves to meet interesting people from all over the world and hear their stories. If the guest is looking for some fun at home, I can also provide entertainments such as jenga, darts, beer pong, and the like! On top of that I am also more than happy to take the guests and show them around the city on weekends. And if you like music like house, deep house, techno, drum and bass, and jazz, then we speak the same language! Do share with me some cool jams - sharing is caring! Other things to note **Guests can drop by to leave their luggages at our place before our check-in time.** **Guests will be charged a refundable key deposit fee of THB 300 upon check in. This fee will be refunded upon check out.** **Shared bathroom is downstairs.** We also offer services like; • Picking up service from both Airport Don Muang (DMK) = 1,100 THB Suvarnbhumi (BKK) = 1,600 THB Please don’t hesitate to contact us for more details about the pick up service. • Complimentary breakfast (between 8.30-10.00 am) • One-on-one Thai cooking lesson (inquire with us regarding the price) ••••HOW TO ARRIVE HERE•••• I highly recommend you type "Sud Soi Guest House " into Grab or G00Gle Map so that you will know where you’re heading to. So that you are not confused!! (Grab is basically the same as Uber) From Suvarnabhumi Airport 1. Take the Airport rail link and get off at Makkasan rail link station 2. Change to the MRT line (Phetchaburi station) (appx. 5 min walk) 3. Take the MRT bound for Bang Sue and alight at Ratchadaphisek station 4. Take the exit number 2, turn right a bit to Soi Ratchadaphisek 19 and look for a mini truck taxi to go to "Vibhavadi Rangsit 16/27" (or show this to the driver - "เข้าซอย วิภาวดีรังสิต 16 และ สุดซอยวิภาวดีรังสิต 16/27 ตามป้ายร้านอาหารครัวบ้านสวน"- 20 THB for the mini truck taxi (Tuk Tuk) if you are not sure what is it look like Please go to the last photo to see an example. :) *** make sure the driver takes you to the very end of the alley *** 5. When you get off at the destination, look out for the yellow sign that reads "ครัวบ้านสวน Cuisine & Cafe" (shown in our photo gallery) and you're there! From Don Mueang Airport 1. Take a taxi at the airport and tell the driver to go to "Vibhavadi Rangsit 16/27" (or show this to the driver - "เข้าซอย วิภาวดีรังสิต 16 และ สุดซอยวิภาวดีรังสิต 16/27 ตามป้ายร้านอาหารครัวบ้านสวน") 2. When you are at the alley mentioned above, tell the driver to follow the yellow signs of our cafe on the streets that read"ครัวบ้านสวน Cuisine & Cafe" (photos included in the gallery) 3. Make sure the taxi driver takes you all the way to the end of the alley and you should see another yellow sign that reads "ครัวบ้านสวน Cuisine & Cafe" and you're there! ********** If there is anything else that's unclear, feel free to shoot me messages!
