A large living area comprising of 2 large leather sofas and chair surrounding a log burner. High country chic meets the contemporary. There is room for everyone to sit and enjoy the incredible lake views with a glass of wine or to watch TV A huge table and chairs that allows for all guests to sit and share a meal together. Ultra modern kitchen equipped with a double oven, dishwasher and everything needed to cook. Simple ingredients provided in the kitchen pantry that will assist in cooking. Full laundry facilities including a dryer, large clothes line and rack to dry out ski gear at night. Two very functional stylish bathrooms that are configured to accommodate large groups with heated towel rails. There is a heat pump for immediate heat. There is plenty of wood in the garage outside for the log burner. The lake house is located just 5 minutes walk from the main shops and restaurants but is in an incredibly quiet locale with sweeping uninterrupted views of the mountain range and Lake Tekapo. The Tekapo township offers lots to do all year round. The famous stargazing tours, horse riding, the hot pools, ice skating and some excellent options for eating out. The local super market has everything you will need and is just 5 minutes walk away. Garage parking available for one car and parking on site for 2 more (free street parking too if needed) Ideal for large groups or families. Please note that there is a small drop from the bottom deck onto the garden bed below so it is not suitable for young toddlers unless under supervision. Self check in. The lock box code and step by step instructions provided after booking confirmed. Please feel free to use the telescope in the upstairs cupboard to check out the night sky. This house is non smoking. Please do not smoke anywhere on the property. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property. Rubbish must be placed in the rubbish bins in the garage. Recycling must be placed in the correct bins. Strictly no smoking on the entire property.
