The Happy House is ideal for those who love nature and animals (some hens live here and will provide eggs) The space Stay in Bagnols-en-Forêt and experience the heart of the Côte d’Azur, just 15 minutes from the beaches—without the crowds or traffic jams! We have implanted the house so that it would be totally away from the eyes. The pool is surrounded by nature, with flowers blooming all year round. The fruits from the garden are a delicacy for all (figs, prunes). The hens will give you their extra fresh organic eggs every morning ! ON PROPERTY at your disposal : A large outdoor swimming pool with automatic electrical shutter - THE BEST SECURITY FOR YOUNG CHILDREN !! The kitchen is directly facing the pool so that it is very convenient to watch the children bath while preparing for delicious meals ;-)) Shaded pétanque court, electric planchas for your barbecues on the terrasse facing the pool, ping-pong table, badminton set, swing, bikes… Beautiful covered terrasse facing pool with table for 12 people to enjoy outdoor meals all year round. Large natural stone floors around the pool with outdoor couches and apéritif table, deck chairs and deck beds for unforgettable moments of relaxation. Hens live on-site, safely enclosed in their coop and run. They’ll be delighted to dispose of your food scraps and reward you with fresh eggs ;-) Please remember to close the coop doors after each visit! The garden is enclosed but has no gate. The house is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac serving only two homes. Access to the garden is secured by a small gate with hatch that can be locked. "La Maison du Bonheur" is the last house at the end of the private cul-de-sac (so no traffic near the house! ;-) All bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets, allowing you to sleep with the windows open—no need for chemical mosquito repellents. NEW for summer 2025: INDIVIDUAL AIR CONDITIONING in all 3 upstairs bedrooms!!! NEW for summer 2026: AIR CONDITIONING in the independent studio!! Air conditioning is also available in the living/dining room. Only the ground-floor bedroom does not have air conditioning. It stays naturally cool thanks to its position at the back of the house and benefits from the living room’s air conditioning. ROOM LAYOUT IN THE HOUSE: Ground floor: Entrance, hallway separated from the entrance by a door leading to the double bedroom, bathroom, and separate WC. Dining room (table for 12) opens directly onto the garden. Living room with corner sofa, small 2-seater sofa, wood stove, and TV. Independent kitchen with snack area for 3/4 people opens directly onto a covered terrace (20m²) facing the pool. The terrace is equipped with two large wrought-iron tables for 12. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, 1 separate WC, 1 bathroom with corner bathtub (shower head and curtain) and sink. Large walk-in closets in bedrooms 1, 2, and 3. Small wardrobe in bedroom 4. STUDIO LAYOUT: 1 double bed 140cm with no bed frame and storage under the bed (storage bed) On the mezzanine: a small double bed 120cm wide (mattress on slatted base with very small bed legs) suitable for an adult or a child over 6 years old (mezzanine sleeping is prohibited in France for children under 6) Attention: The mezzanine does not allow you to stand upright, but it provides comfortable sleeping. The village is only a two minutes car ride away. There you will find two bakeries, some restaurants, bars, a small open air market, a chemist, doctors, nurses, the school, the Office of Tourism and charging stations for your electric vehicles. The Hyper-markets are at 15 minutes car ride (SuperU, Intermarché, Leclerc). In Bagnols-en-Forêt on top of all the local shops and restaurants is a tiny open air market that takes place every Wednesday and Saturday mornings. And for local food lovers, a 'Marché Paysan' (a market gathering regional producers) is just a 15 minute drive away, offering organic meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, wine, olive oil, honey, flowers… a real treat for your taste buds! The large open air market in Fayence (another beautiful village to be visited) is held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning in front of the Church. We are looking forward to welcoming you !!! Deck chairs, outdoor sofa, arm chairs and outdoor tables Children saw, bikes... HOUSE LAYOUT: The ground floor : Entrance hall, dining room (table for 12) giving direct access to the garden. Living room with large angle sofa, independent kitchen with eating space for 4. Kitchen with direct access to beautiful covered terrasse of 20m2 facing the pool. The covered terrasse is equipped with table for 8 seatings. A small corridor goes from the entrance hall to the ground floor : - One bedroom with king size bed of 160x190, Separate bathroom with large shower (140x90), a sink and a bidet, Independent WC with sink. On the first floor : 3 bedrooms, one independent WC, one bathroom with angle bath and a sink. The three upstairs bedrooms are equipped like this : - one room with king size bed (180x200), - one room with twin beds plus a drawer bed 3x(80x190), this room can either accommodate 2 to 3 children (but then there is no more space for playing and the 3 beds are side by side), or the 2 twin beds car be made into one large king bed of 160x190 and can accommodate a couple. - The fourth bedroom has a queen bed of 140x190. The Studio is completely independent from the house (located on the other side of the pool terrasse) it can accommodate 3 people. Other things to note House Rules for a Peaceful Stay : To respect the tranquility of the neighborhood, please avoid loud shouting in the pool during the day and opt for quiet activities after 10 PM. The pool remains accessible at any time, including after 10 PM, as long as it is used quietly. This extends to the outside dining space as you are staying in an area where people sleep with their windows open at night ! Please remember to extinguish outdoor lights before going to bed (pool & garden lights) Please respect the property’s animals and avoid sudden noises or movements near them. Always remember to close the doors to the chicken coop. Bicycles and Local Discoveries A few bicycles are available for your use. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to use them, so we can ensure they are in good working order before and after your stay. We would be delighted to introduce you to the property, the neighborhood, and our beautiful region! While we are very discreet and you won’t see us unless you wish, we love to share and exchange. Feel free to ask us for recommendations—hikes, excursions, visits, restaurants, and unique spots when we come on site to clean the pool. Pets and Practical Information Pets are welcome, but prior agreement is required before booking to ensure they get along with the rest of the household. Please take care of the family furniture. Do not enter the house in wet swimsuits ! Please use the clotheslines for wet towels and avoid placing them on wooden or iron furniture (chairs, railings, armchairs, or tables) as this can leave marks.
