Home in San Jose

Enjoy the beautiful view from spa-like home perched on a quiet hill above San Jose. Large common area with tv, dining space and adjoining kitchen. Your room has a full bath adjacent to it, and a small private balcony with a view of downtown San Jose. Five minute walk to Alum Rock Park, where you can see deer roaming, and hawks soaring. You're ten minutes from downtown San Jose, fifteen minutes to Santa Clara but away from it all and amongst the birds, trees and fresh air... The space One-of-a-kind custom home designed to provide a view straight down Mc. Kee road towards downtown San Jose. Large front deck and smaller rear deck, both with patio tables if you wish to enjoy a meal or coffee outside. The home is solar-powered with battery backup. This is also home to my small dog Séamus. He is sweet and friendly, but if you are fearful of dogs, our home may not be the ideal place for you :o) Also, I’m sorry but I am unable to host pets, and the home is not suitable for children. Guest access Upstairs, and the front and back decks. The guest bedroom, kitchen and main living space is upstairs. There is also the front deck which is a lovely place to sit and read, or eat. There is a smaller back deck with awesome views across the valley. Finally, there is a back yard, where my dogs hang out, it's a bit wild at present, I hope to be taming it gradually as the year progresses. Please note that I live here, I will be around, and will be accessing the living room and kitchen spaces also. My bedroom is downstairs, under the main living space. There’s washer and dryer facilities downstairs also, which you are welcome to use. If you require privacy I will definitely respect that - I do not enter the guest room once a guest checks in. Parking is available on the street next to my fence/mailbox , welcome to use the driveway for loading & unloading. During your stay I am working from home these days, so I am usually around the house during the weekdays. I have received both Covid vaccination shots. Other things to note In the summertime it can be warm in this part of the valley. I definitely need my beauty sleep, so quiet time on the weekends is usually midnight - 8.30am, during the weeks, 11pm to 7:30am, thanks.
