A room away from home - across UC

Females preferred This tastefully, self-contained room is within our home, and offers a clean, safe and private space away from home. Unwind with a coffee, as you watch TV and look out into the garden. The room is equipped with a TV, desk, cupboard, iron, kettle & coffee machine. The guest has access to a private bathroom. The room is centrally heated and cooled. Guest can use the shared kitchen (but own spices/condiments), pots and utensils, with a separate (shared) fridge to store perishables The space You will be living in a house with 2 adults and 2 teenage children. We also have a very friendly, toy cavoodle. We have hosted many international students and are caring and responsible hosts. You will be welcomed and treated like family. We only ask that you look after your room, are clean, be tidy and respectful of people in the house and do not smoke or have alcohol in the room or in the house. We are happy to help you find your way around Canberra and make you feel comfortable and at home. Guest access You will be able to access the common areas of the house, including parts of the kitchen and outdoor spaces. You can use the extra fridge to store your fresh food and a small cupboard to store non-perishables if you will be cooking. Guests have access to the stove, microwave, toaster and air fryer in the kitchen to cook/re-heat food. During your stay We work and have kids, so have time to chat to you in the evening after work on most days. Other things to note We are particular about cleanliness, low noise levels, respect and privacy for all in the house, including yourself. However, please note that living in a house with us is different to a private Air BnB setting as it’s lived in and functions as a home.
